  • Such good memories in the old Omni in Atlanta rocking out! Where have all the years gone.

  • One of the best voices in Rock! If not THE best!

  • Everybody pokes fun at Krokus and it's B.S. I seen them live back in the day several times. They might not have been as consistent in song writing as say the Scorpions, but live they were just as tight a band. I won't hear bad of Huey Lewis and The News ( sports tour ) either, that was probably the most flawless live show I have ever seen. Chris ( Haynes?) is a guitar GOD. I was blown away by him. I read later that Smith and Murray from Iron Maiden thought he was badass as well.

  • Headhunter is one of the first LPs I purchased. This song is epic. I love the way it ends then comes back with the drums to set up the final "Headhunter." I thought the earlier Krokus albums were kind of interesting. Their later pop metal stuff is pretty forgettable. But then again, what pop metal isn't forgettable.

  • headhunter kicks ass espesially the opening of the song

  • Should have been the singer for AC/DC after Bon Scott died.

  • This is my song of the week !!!

  • Damn,This song still rocks today.

  • Some people from my generation refer to this stuff as "dinosaur rock" or that of dusting off their music collection. Personally, I never stopped listening to it. There is so much great music like this from the 80's that I just keep rotating the same few dozens of artists/bands from this era...and have never gotten board of it. IMO, other than a small handful of great tunes, rock music from the 90's til now has sucked!

  • @ipsofacto297 Same here man. Mainstream music since the mid-90s (or at least rock music) has been so depressing it's unbearable.

  • Turn it up to 11!

  • Back in 83, I remember this was the heaviest song on the radio. In fact, I couldn't believe it was on the radio. The next album, The Blitz was good, but couldn't compare to this. They should have stayed with this kind of stuff.

  • I saw Krokus with Saxon, and those days I long for most!

    Slayer= Heavy Metal

    Poison= Toxic avengers

    And above all!.......Up the Irons!!!!

  • gREAT MUSICIANS WITH NO TALENT FOR MAKE SONGS lol...BUT EVEN COPYING ACDC AND OTHERS THEYARE BETTER THAN SOME ORIGINALS lol...LIKE THE SINGER BLOW bON SCOTT TECHNICALLY.bUT HE IMITATE bON NO DOUBT

  • I seen Krokus open for Rainbow in Chicago on the Hardware tour and they kicked major ass. I just wish that they had kept doing albums like Headhunter.

  • Not shure but the intro sounds little like the intro from Dynamite by Scorpions 82'

  • I saw them on this tour in '83 opening for Def Leppard (with Gary Moore as support). I bought this album (yes - ALBUM) the next day. Still have that copy of it. Not a bad song on it.

  • @KillerMcGinty Did the same thing, this never gets old.

  • 35 years later Im still listening to KROKUS, how happy am I ? very.

  • I like various types of music but METAL ROCK IS FOREVER IN MY BLOOD !!!

  • this kicks ass

  • woot i love this song,

  • FORTE!!!

  • where are they now?

  • Great song when i was young. Still great now!!!

  • saw krokus open? for kiss in fayetteville awesome.

  • krokus, icon, king kobra and lizzy borden are some of my favorite metal bands that didnt get their due. some things are just bullshit sometimes.

  • sounds like bon scot on heavy metal !!!

  • bit queen too. queen meets the priest

  • i think as a metal head we should all respect it but we dont have to enjoy it however i do like it very much but they do sound a lot like acdc its not dead on but lets face it its close in alot of parts and long stick goes boom pretty much dead on but i do love it

  • ya been listening to metal since 82, rather listen to these songs over todays songs or bands.

  • This song was cool

  • just great stuff! lots of energy! makes me wanna play my guitars and drink beer....LOL!

  • Seen these guys in 83 with Gary Moore and Def Leppard very first show.In the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in Marquette great show.

  • Did they really play in Marquette? I was born in the wrong time, because the only people that play here nowadays are 3OH3 and Third Eye Blind. Nearest heavy metal show is in Milwaukee.

  • @crusher955 Yes in the Marquette arena after the encores for Def Leppard all three bands jammed.

  • yes yes...melt my face!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • GIMME A THUMBS UP IF THIS SONG ROCKS

  • FUCKIN FUCK YEAH! TURN IT UPPPPP!

  • the opening guitar rif is as good as it gets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i love it!!!!!!!!!!!the hole song is up there with the hall of metal fame

  • Gary Moore opened for Krokus and Def Leppard headlined the show here in Harrisburg, Pa. in 1983. That was a great show. Saw lots of great triple billed concerts at city island in Harrisburg in the 80's.

  • GAMMAH DORNBATH PAAAAHTOONY!!! Wait, no it's only up to the flopping belly, What do you think? HUH? HUH? HUH? Jingle balls? STOP IT!! You just thought I'd marshmellow didn't ya? Well I oughtah BAAAMUUTHA STICKY WIENER!! Sack of poo? Sack of doggy toes? NO!! NOT THAT, Big chin big chin!! Get it outta here!Jumped into the tree.

  • Their best album, imo. Hardware is good, too. I saw them open for Def Leppard in '83, when Leppard were beginning to turn more pop (High n Dry is my favorite Leppard album). I guess it had been a long tour for Leppard already because Krokus smoked 'em. Leppard looked and sounded like they were going through the motions. Krokus kicked arse.

  • @EC66OK I forgot to mention One Vice At A Time and Metal-Rendevouz! I guess even I'd forgotten how many good tunes Krokus had.

  • Their best song.

    HEADHUNTEER!!

    Absolute Classic!

  • Throw your bodies into the fire!!!

  • I wish I could go back to the 70's and 80's I would just stay there ....going to every band I could..todays music SUCKS..Long live the good rock

  • @jiggaboo904 thought you where talking about the gayass bret michaels band

  • This song sums up my "Political Philosophies!"

  • krokus was a cracker!

  • this song plainly RIPS

  • saw them back in 84 they were very cool live

  • "She's hungry for a midnight snack and heads will roll tonight"...classic

  • The intro rocks !!!

  • I just heard them on the radio for the first time in years. Krokus rocks.

  • I love Krokus!!!

  • great song, great band!!!!!!!!!

  • nice patch:P

  • hey man iron maiden is one of the greatest heavy metal bands of all time. they r in a league of there own. but u cant talk shit about krokus, they r a kick ass band. and whats up with this metal purist stuff? heavy metal is heavy metal, from poison to slayer, it all rocks man

  • poison with bret michaels?

  • @DoctorFeelgood666 haha, nice user name. did you read their book The Dirt: Confessions of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band. Some of the stories in their are bizarre and show you how real rock stars did party & live.

  • @DoctorFeelgood666 haha poison metal uhh i dont think soo

  • @DoctorFeelgood666

you say it right man... HEAVY METAL IS HEAVY METAL ;)

  • @DoctorFeelgood666 I totally agree, and not because Iron Maiden is my favorite Metal Band on the planet,...*smiling*, I do LOVE Metal!

  • @DoctorFeelgood666 Poison isn't metal.

  • @TheGreatDuck Poison is awesome

  • @BrandNewGod51 They're not,and even if they were, that still doesn't have anything to do with them (not) being a metal band.

  • @BrandNewGod51 Except if you're talking about one of the metal bands called Poison.

  • @BrandNewGod51 At sucking cocks? Probably

  • @DoctorFeelgood666 Poison is not heavy metal

  • @DoctorFeelgood666 nah man there's definitely sub genres of metal and some of those suck. Personally i dont like bands like poison and GNR cause they dressed so gay that queers didnt even like them, but at the same time they got laid alot because of it. I think Krokus just wasnt as famous as iron maiden cause maiden came first. Pioneers always get a lot of attention.

  • @DoctorFeelgood666

lol your whole sentence is entirely composed of world of warcraft names

    take care :]

  • @N00Bhater11 And you eat a pile of cock for breakfast every morning.

  • @DoctorFeelgood666 Sorry, there's no poison near my beloved SLAYER, WHATEVER

  • @DoctorFeelgood666 fuk yea!! all metal genres must unite to combat the evil pop culture which took over society after the 90's

  • @DoctorFeelgood666 You're so wrong, glam sucks. Thrash, Speed, Heavy, and Old School American Death Metal are where it's at.

  • @Sjamsucks Don't forget about Sweden, Finland, and Norway. Some of the best black and death metal bands have come out the Scandinavian region.

  • @DoctorFeelgood666 Uhhh.. I wouldn't exactly put Poison in the same category as Krokus, Iron Maiden, and such... I don't consider their type of "glam rock" as metal at all.

  • @DoctorFeelgood666 Poison sucks.

  • Iron Maiden is a more pure metal band than Krokus. As for talent, they're both great. It's just a matter of weather your a metal purist, or more into the comercialized hair band stuff. Gotta hand it to Krokus on this song though. Great metal tune! some of their other stuff is a bit "popish" though.

  • Everyone talks about how legendary Iron Maiden is well I for one say that there are alot better and I'd prefer Krokus any day, no offence to any Maiden fan but Maiden are just too overrated..

  • Yeah-ha Made in Switzerland!!!

  • Priest-ish. I havn't listened to Krokus in years.

  • Used Tom Allom who produced Unleashed in the east and British Steel before this.

  • cool stuff i never compared them to maiden or priest but metal is metal. so if your a metal head you shoud like it

  • im a huge maiden fan that just got into krokus

and i have to say there kind of better than maiden

    by just a little bit.

    "up the irons"

    and

    KROKUS FOREVER!!!!!

    ROCK ON

  • y is every1 fightin bout iron maiden and krokus,u should be fightin about iron maiden vs. judas priest.there wasnt ever a band u could compare to krokus.KROKUS is KROKUS!and they r KICK ASS!

  • fired

  • He does lound alot like Bon Scott, and that aint a bad thing. Got this tape for christmas 1983. Awesome!!! Not a bad song on it.

  • Actually Krokus was on the scene a full year before Maiden. And in these parts were popular long before Iron Maiden.

Loudness sounds more like AC/DC than Krokus. like

  • You 're kidding I guess ? I like Krokus but I have to be honest, they sound most of the time like AC/DC, definitely not like Maiden. And the best Maiden-albums are by ar better than the best Krokus-albums.

  • Krokus does sound like AC/DC a bit but only in terms of marc's vocals. While there is no doubt that the best iron maiden albums are better than anything krokus has ever done, this song sounds like it could pass for a judas priest or iron maiden number.

  • hahahahah wow, thats laughable!!!!

  • Krokus is ok but its simple music, Maiden is so much better on so many levels the two can't even be compared.

  • These Guys are ccompletely different than iron maiden. how do you even think that their similiar

  • Kick ass show opening for Def Leppard

in '83 - Capital Centre Largo MD

  • I saw this tour in Montreal, with special guest Garry Moore...a really cool 3 for 1...

  • i heard krokus...yesterday too and this is f.u.c.k.i.n.g. awsome!!!!!!!

  • the word isn't f.u.c.k.i.n.g, it's fucking when you're describing some good shit :D who cares about swear words anyway?

  • i only heard of krokus yesterday and they're awesome!

  • A TRUE CLASSIC!!!!

    HEADHUNTERRRRRR

  • not so much speedmetal....this was one of the first times i'd ever heard the cadence change in the solo to pure feel......check the muted beginning and the rip that followed!....Von Arb was as hot as Eddie, but he never got the attention

  • yes i agree very tasty player

  • EXCELLENT!!!!

  • Great band at the time. Ballroom Blitz was their best album, followed by Headhunter. The others were all mediocre with maybe one good song.

  • Swiss Megaton Blast BOMBER. KROKUS

  • very judas priest sounding, good stuff

  • the one tha thumbed down you is a dick, this sounds like priest a bit

  • And they released their Painkiller album 2 decades earlier

  • God, that kix so much ass !!! Awesome,6 Stars !!!

  • i like to see you bleed so welcome to my feast...

  • I love the riff on this song. Almost a foreshadowing of the speedmetal bands that began popping out that year and the following year.

  • Hmmm ... double bass ... forgot they were pioneers here !!

  • Were they? I love Krokus.

  • This album is very good. First saw Krokus on the Hardware tour w/ Nazareth and Trapeze. 1981 Convention Center Arena, San Antonio, Tx. The most energetic band I have seen. I can still say that to this day.

  • kicks ass....

    just found out about them

  • Probably had 4 copies of this record.

Beer and cigarette stains from headbanging parties in the early 80's in New Zealand took their toll on many albums.

This album had such a good sound production for its day, really big and wide sound.

  • KROKUS ROCK AWESome

  • I've always liked Krokus, but my favorite song of their's is Hard Luck Hero off the Change of Address album.

  • The best KROKUS track in my opinion...Havent heard it seens mabye -87..thanx

  • i haven't heard this song in......25 years. my mom called this music "the devil's music", lol. good stuff.

  • yo mama is wrong the devil loves all kinds of good music!

  • if you want to say the devil likes hip hop or emo you probably have a deathwish lol.

  • i am the maker of death! the devil wears speedos and thongs! he listens to it all. by the way there is no devil where i come from he may have existed but not in 2008!

  • This is music.

  • One of the best heavy metal ablums of the 80's!

  • This is a Heavy Metal Classic. 1983!

  • cool song
