mayer uses a vintage elam251 and u47s a lot for vocals. and since JJP mixed it I can assure you his "chain" was probably hundreds of thousands of dollars worth more than what you did. but thats sweet that you get to use that gear too! this is a sweet cover!
@skyleracoustic thanks bro! yeah probably. i put that statement as a joke. lol come on he recorded in Abby road and avatar studio.. I cant keep up with that. Yeah plus were lacking on the guitar amps. so im kinda still disappointed with the guitar sound. But some other recordings that i have and some are about to be uploaded on youtube, they are great man. cause first, i recorded on ssl and ofcourse telefunkens sanding it to chandler limited. so stay with me man I have some good stuffs coming up
