  • I'm the guy in the dog suit! No joke!

  • Sorry, This was not an effective video. If you SELL puppy's YOU are a part of the Puppy Mill problem. Puppy Mills can contain hundreds of dogs or just be some dope hoping to make a buck selling 'paperless' dogs in the newspaper. Again. Key Word: SELLING. The only justifiable reason to ASK for a Donation would to be to cover expenses you voluntarily incurred to vaccinate, spay or neuter, heart worm, etc.

  • Well, they are not entirely correct…ALL of the puppies are from puppy mills. NO REPUTABLE BREEDER WOULD EVER SELL THEIR PUPPIES TO PET STORES!!! If you want a particular breed, find a breed rescue. Otherwise adopt from a shelter. You are not saving any dogs by buying them from a pet store. You are only encouraging the puppy mills to put out more puppies to sell at the pet store. Please educate yourselves. Google "puppy mills" and find out why we are so passionate about this!

  • Puppy mills = puppy hell. There is a store close to me called I HEART PUPPIES in Corona del Mar that sells puppy mill dogs. They need to get their puppies from the shelter. Hybrid puppies are better anyhow. I hope we can persuade them to do so!

  • Hi Everybody,

I want to make sure everybody knows that the two puppies in the crate in this commercial are NOT puppy mill puppies. They are part of Violet Meadow Farm's IrishJacks and are loved and taken care of as individual puppies with NAMES. Check out more videos of them playing on our page. One even has a blue eye :-)

  • What happens to the puppies in the store?

  • @kewlJaz234 uninformed, uneducated people buy them thinking they're doing the pup a favor. it's great for the pup but its mother and father are stuck in puppy mills breeding to death in unsanitary cramped, loud, horrible conditions. the Amish are even engaging in this torturous puppy breeding. spay and neuter your dogs! adopt ONLY at shelters so we can eliminate puppy mills/breeders overbreeding. overbreeding means dogs are killed every day in the hundreds of thousands. end this now!

  • @kewlJaz234 Not only that but a lot of the puppies that come from puppy mills end up sick or diseased. They suffer from all kinds of illnesses from just being born in such horrific conditions (puppy mills).

  • @Strictlypointless Inbreeding causes many of the grave illnesses and genetic diseases, from Puppy Mills.

  • who loves animals will not buy, adopt.

  • Pet stores often tell customers that their puppies come from local breeders or quality breeders. Don't believe them, ask to see the paperwork and find out where the puppies really come from.

If the people of the United States refused to buy a puppy in a pet store, the misery of puppy mills would end. Please tell everyone you know about the puppymill and petstore connection.

  • I hate when people buy pets from those stores because they say they just "want to get them out of here." Don't you realize you're just making room for another puppy? I always say to go to animal shelters, and ppl will also say no because they're healthy and taken care of there. What? If ppl stopped buying animals at these pet shops, they would have to shut down! Derp!

  • love it ... love it ... LOVE IT!! if pet stores want to sell puppies or any animal for that matter ... to have the animal's best interest and the purchaser's best interest at heart AND to get their money's worth ... should have an on-site LICENSED, DEGREED OR CERTIFIED VETERINARIAN ON STAFF 24/7! puppies get sick just as easily and just as quick (especially when caged up or in glass enclosures) as kids do and we don't leave them alone! for real people ... DON'T SUPPORT your local pet store UNL

  • Pet stores swear their animals are from known breeders. Yep. In the south & midwest, puppy mills are well known, by humane associations, the local sheriff, neighbors who try to intervene. It's just wrong. Always ask to see the pup's parents, or for a number to contact the breeder.

  • They grow, and some are given away, or go to shelters. And some have serious congenital or infectious medical problems that develop as they get older, & they're put down. Every dog purchased at a pet store means that a shelter dog is destroyed.

  • our local petsmart has only shelter animals available for adoption.

  • If you don't bye the puppies from the pet store then what happens to them?

  • @awayps They are given away or dumped at a shelter . . . Might be a kill-shelter, where an older dog has no hope for a life, especially if it's lived all of it's 'training' months as a cute little puppy inside a glass cage in a retail store!

  • Not all pet stores sell from puppy mills. There is one close to my home that only takes puppies from the local shelters and rescue groups. But, unfortunately, most do.

  • @my2angels1 If they are selling those dogs for profit they should be ashamed of themselves.

  • @jdregula They don't profit from them. Their profit comes from selling their merchandise. When people know that the pet shop is not buying from puppy mills then, people are more likely to shop in the pet shop. Go to the Best Friends Video channel and you will see a video on it.

  • @my2angels1 Yes, as you say not all, but MOST do. Thankfully many pet stores now are beginning to coordinate regular adoption events with local shelters and rescue groups, which often have pure breeds or 'designer' pups available, and hopefully one day puppy mills will no longer exist. This abuse of innocent beings also includes cats and kittens. Sad and Wrong!

  • this is the BEST commercial EVER..
