But Transformers was based on a war. Its style is unique and has a serious tone but also enlightening at the same time. This looks too...superman-ish by style alone. Do you know a Transformers episode that had some human turning into a mutant? I certainly dont. Its supposed to be focused on the war of the machines.

They're focusing fewer episodes on the Decepticons so it doesn't make them look like they get defeated every episode and somehow manage to go on. That kind of format is lame; it makes you wonder how the Decepticons are even around if one band of Autobots can defeat them every five seconds. So, the writers on this show have more of a ranged focus for episodes.

It's an ED-209 copy with "improved recognition systems" such a sly referance to Robocop, I love it. This series has everything! Great characters and obscure referances :D

Promethius looks pretty cool for a villain.  It never occured to me that size bothered Bee. I never would've thought Bumble Bee was the "Scrappy-doo type", as if in the small guy who thinks he's tall. "Filthy Machines!!!" Prometh's got it worse than Fanzone. Ratchet's got a monicle! I'll bet Meltdown noticed he transformed when he went to the bathroom to gargle his mouth one morning.
