The slow pace of the process indicates that the Magnetron is pretty much burned out of during all those experiments with the microwave cavity without any real load. @slippymal It is not dangerous to spray water into elektrical devices. The water has a resistans so big, so when the electricity hits you, it will be so low amps and voltage that it won't hurt. The only thing that is dangerous, is a short curcuit, when that happens there is a chance of fire, but that's why we have fuses ;)
