So, I LOVE this talk by Elder Holland. However, I'm a little bummed that you didn't really film it in Kannarraville (Where my Grandparents are from). But, you filmed it in Ivins where I am from, so I guess that's okay. :)
Oh how I love the gospel of Jesus Christ! How comforting it is to know how much He loves us. Sometimes it is hard for me to see the whole picture and have faith all will be well. Sometimes life can be so hard and back-breaking. But every time I start to think it's just too much, and I can't possibly climb back up again, Jesus Christ comes to me. "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you." (John 14:18)
Truly He is the Savior of all men, and loves each of us personally. (^_^)
I have been struggling in my own way and this sweet video helped me realize that we're not alone and that we need to keep going in life, even when the road can be tough. I love how the Apostles and the Prophet can bring such comfort in your life. :)

In my opinion some abanded their loved ones and leave 'em behind and that is a selfish choice, there was no complaining. Man doesn't reap or sow... Remember this always think about others what they say to you ? It can get you and your family into crisis
Trials come into your life to help you learn and grow. Very often the trials aren’t easy and sometimes they can be downright hard. But if you endure the trials well a loving Father will exalt you on high. Remember your loving Father in Heave was once as you are and had endured what you are enduring and fully understands what you are going through. And if you show forth faith and endure with patents you will give you much needed comfort to help make the endurance of your trial easer.
What a Great talk! I spoke with my father just recently, and had told him I was worried about the financial struggles that I and alot of family members and friends are facing also. Saying, "Don't you Quit, You keep walking, You keep trying, There is help and happiness ahead." I am very grateful for these words. I may watch this video everyday until my heart is healed.
I am so very grateful for this message. I believe it is inspired of God. It is hard to speak with people about religion with people who have differing beliefs, but the message here is unmistakable. There is a passage in the bible regarding the Savior that speaks volumes, "He went about doing good." The spirit of this video is just that. Therefore I believe it is of God. Yes, good things will come to those who believe and HOPE. I just finished a long hard year with cancer and had days when I thought I would "give up" although the doctors will not tell me I am cancer free, I am the happiest I have ever been in my life. That happiness comes from knowing HE LIVES and that he lifted and carried me through the rough times..... don't quit
I really needed that. I'm at a point in my life where I'm tempted to just ask the lord to take me home, but I know he wants me to keep going. I need to gather up strength until good things do come to me.
This is why I love the gospel so much-- it gives me every reason to hope. I know that only the best is yet to come, even though sometimes that includes trials to help me grow. My family are searching for a house.I almost gave up until last night when I suddenly was felt with inspiration and grabbed my laptop and started looking for houses on craigslist.I found 12 houses that met our needs,I'm only 14.
It says a lot about a video when it can be posted in public on youtube and only a small handful of cynical critics blast at it. Most viewers can apparently feel the spirit of this video and the message about the Lord it contains when they watch it. The Spirit always testifies of truth, and only those who have hardened their hearts cannot sense it. Great video, and so meaningful in these times when so many are struggling financially!

I am a member of the church and I am struggling to make some big choices in my life, I have been praying to find a job but havent found one yet but I know that god is always there for us even if we feel he isnt he can lead us in the right direction and help us to find the things we need!
I needed to feel that things are going to get better. I've felt like giving up and everyday the Lord sends a friend, a video, a scripture, a hug, a call, or something to help me make it through. I also get such joy from being a friend to others. Never give up. Never quit. Feel the Spirit and know that things will get better.

Well done... It's a beautiful thing to know that God wants to be our Saviour. From His perspective: I can't imagine looking down on this world, hearing and seeing the thoughts, doubts, addictions, sufferings & worries of billions of people... and still reaching out in the hope that they might overcome. It would take a lot of love and patience, only in the abundance that he has I suppose. The best part about it, is through Him, we can overcome :) If you feel you've fallen, just rise again.

@ylw The man telling the story, Elder Jeffrey R. Holland, did make it to graduate school and had a very successful career, raised three wonderful children with his wife Pat, and eventually became president of Brigham Young University before being called as an Apostle, which is what he spends all his time doing now. Yes, there were definitely better times ahead, and his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is what gave him faith and hope as a young father facing difficulties.
These last few months have been traumatic and heartwrenching for me. I at times have raised my eyes to Heaven and asked "When will it end??" This morning was another hard experience, but just after it occurred I saw this video and it truly lifted my heart and has given me strength to move forward. I know that things will be ok and that happiness is to come. This has been such an inspiring message!

My life was a struggle with my personal issuesand depression. Growing up with money I still was very un-happy with my life. I could never understand why I was diffrent than most humans, but I never gave up and that was my key to happiness. After I joined the mormon church and put my trust in Jesus Christ years ago. I have not been depressed since about the way god made me.
This made me feel warm and fuzzy inside. I sent it to my dad in an email because our family is facing trials too, and I just wanted to remind my wonderful dad that "good things WILL come!" Love it so much. God will take care of you.

I really needed that. I'm at a point in my life where I'm tempted to just ask the lord to take me home, but I know he wants me to keep going. I need to gather up strength until good things do come to me.

This is why I love the gospel so much-- it gives me every reason to hope. I know that only the best is yet to come, even though sometimes that includes trials to help me grow. I know God is in control and that if I stay close to him, nothing- and I mean nothing- can get in the way of my eternal happiness. Just hold on :)

It says a lot about a video when it can be posted in public on youtube and only a small handful of cynical critics blast at it. Most viewers can apparently feel the spirit of this video and the message about the Lord it contains when they watch it. The Spirit always testifies of truth, and only those who have hardened their hearts cannot sense it. Great video, and so meaningful in these times when so many are struggling financially!

wow this is very powerful! I am a member of the church and I am struggling to make some big choices in my life, I have been praying to find a job but havent found one yet but I know that god is always there for us even if we feel he isnt he can lead us in the right direction and help us to find the things we need!

I needed to feel that things are going to get better. I've felt like giving up and everyday the Lord sends a friend, a video, a scripture, a hug, a call, or something to help me make it through. I also get such joy from being a friend to others. Never give up. Never quit. Feel the Spirit and know that things will get better.

If you only knew what a hard time we've gone through the past two weeks. I can honestly say that the huge volume of prayers, and this video which felt like it was made especially for me, got me quietly through those times. Well done... It's a beautiful thing to know that God wants to be our Saviour. From His perspective: I can't imagine looking down on this world, hearing and seeing the thoughts, doubts, addictions, sufferings & worries of billions of people... and still reaching out in the hope that they might overcome. It would take a lot of love and patience, only in the abundance that he has I suppose. The best part about it, is through Him, we can overcome :) If you feel you've fallen, just rise again.

@ylw The man telling the story, Elder Jeffrey R. Holland, did make it to graduate school and had a very successful career, raised three wonderful children with his wife Pat, and eventually became president of Brigham Young University before being called as an Apostle, which is what he spends all his time doing now. Yes, there were definitely better times ahead, and his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is what gave him faith and hope as a young father facing difficulties.

These last few months have been traumatic and heartwrenching for me. I at times have raised my eyes to Heaven and asked "When will it end??" This morning was another hard experience, but just after it occurred I saw this video and it truly lifted my heart and has given me strength to move forward. I know that things will be ok and that happiness is to come. This has been such an inspiring message!

I'm a Muslim also, and this is one of the best videos out there, I love Jesus Christ allot but i also think that No matter whats your Religion just Help others and like they said in this video never give your hopes. My life was a struggle with my personal issuesand depression. Growing up with money I still was very un-happy with my life. I could never understand why I was diffrent than most humans, but I never gave up and that was my key to happiness. After I joined the mormon church and put my trust in Jesus Christ years ago. I have not been depressed since about the way god made me.
