This video is awesome. Megadeth and Metallica both went on to influence every metal band that has come since then, the fact that these guys got together when they were still teenagers and did this always puts things in perspective for me. They're all geniuses in every sense of the word.

Thank god for Megadeth! If Dave didnt get kicked out we would not have all the great Megadeth music. Metallica has not had a decent record in 22 years unless you enjoy pop.

You Faggots. Dave Mustaine is a dick and Metallica is so much better off without him. Kirk Hammet shreds like Dave never could.
Megadeth are shit as, they are so technical and they play like they're so scared of making a mistake.
Yeah it was a shame Cliff died but holy shit Jason was a sick bassist and backup singer, i mean listen to Binge and Purge.
Robert Trujillo is an amazing bassist too. Metallica have evolved into something that no other band can even ever come close to match.

@TheEcstacyOfGold yes they have they went from a thrash band to something Megadeth never could a rock band and they don't play like they don't want to make mistakes they just don't because they are that good kirk uses his wah pedal to much and cannot play anything like Dave or Chris cliff died and it ruined metallica Jason is a great bass player listening to his flotsam stuff and the bass tracks for everything else Mr Robert Trujillo is a good bassist to but i'm not the biggest fan

@TheEcstacyOfGold i like where ur going at, but i like megadeth and i like dave mustaine, he is one of my idols and he is a great guitarist, but we all have our own opinions so what ever. and look at it this way, without dave thier probably would have never been a metallica, with his blistering guitar solos and his amazing playing, he helped create metallica.

When I watch these old videos I just think WTF happened to Metallica? How did they go from this to what we have today? Did Mustaine and Burton really have THAT MUCH influence on the song writing on the first 3 albums? Barely a single decent song in 15 fucking years now :(
