@happydragon5077 you obviously have no idea what you are talking about. Regardless of the historical excuses you make for crap lion dancing, lion dancing is Kung Fu. And the best lion dancers usually have martial arts backgrounds and utilize martial arts techniques in their lion dancing. Crappy martial arts=crappy lion dancing. It's really all that simple. @hungmanhtran Most Kung Fu schools don't specialize in lion dancing....they train in kung fu.  The lion and dragon dances complement the training, and to keep the tradition alive. Lion dancing was used as a cover to pass revolutionary messages between kung fu schools and other supporters (To overthrow the Manchu govt').

The really excellent lion dancers are usually from "Lion Dance Troupes". Almost all of them don't concentrate on kung fu.

white dragon kung fu, tai chi, MMA there are seven locations in san diego including the one here (clairemont), la mesa, el cajon, oceanside, encinitas, mira mesa, and temecula.
