Way back in the 80's you could fly in to Solvang airport and rent a '58 chevy for the ride in to Solvang. The rental "agent" would give you a handful of keys-good luck figuring which keys went to what car and even better luck finding a car that would start. But hey, it was great fun.

its supposed to be like a danish town in the middle of california, but 90% of the people are mexican and the other 10% are 80 year old gamblers from the chumash casino. so the only thing danish about this place are the buildings.

it looks like denmark at some points, but you know denmark have changed alot scince 1911, i live in denmark but not in copenhagen i live on a "farm" if you can call it that, or a "bondegård" lol
