  • Allgood2000, I love you for posting these clips! I am just astonished at how much u know about this show! Thank you, again and again, hehe :D

  • howard is my dad...

  • what shitty cpr

  • Ghost rocking chair in the background at 8.55

  • My Cousin used to work at CBS and had conversations with Wiliam Shatner about Rescue 911. I would love to meet him in person as he lives in Studio City .

  • i cried after watching this.. My dad had a 5 way by-pass and has recently been told his heart is failing and he's at high risk of a heart attack, you are very lucky and i wish you all the best xo

  • I wonder if they realize that after 5 compressions you have barely started to build up pressure. When you stop to give 2 breaths all that pressure is released. Thats why CPR no longer requires breaths. Just straight compressions. Way to teach how to kill someone.

  • great job bringing him back after 17 minutes, After about 5 minutes or less all brain function is pretty much lost

  • HOLY #### look at her go!!!!! can you say adrenaline?

  • RUN FOREST RUN

  • wow this is a good reinactment half the time i was like wow the guy who filmed this has good camera..... w8 HOW WAS THIS FILMED (cuz i thought this was the real footage) xD

  • old school movie.

  • the man in the car who had a heart attack is older than both my grandmothers and grandfathers

  • that one black guy sounds like chris rock lol his voice I mean lol

  • where da go.....stop your car and chase a car on your legs.....

  • on here is it the same people that happend in real life or just acting?

  • @TheThomasyoung2012 It's acting, but most of the actual people are playing themselves in the re-enactment.

  • i have a question why does most of the series take place in either 1989 or early 90's

  • @bowlchamp411 The series was produced from 1989 to 1996, so they focused on stories that were recent at the time.

  • This woman is an absolute angel!! But where is the big S in the middle of her chest. Everyone here was a true godsend

  • howard is my dad my mom just told me about this i was like are u serious

  • good job!

  • these videos maybe old but still awesome

  • we should take example from those bystanders and help others like they did.

that lady was an angel and she has a big heart, god must have put her there to help that elderly man. god bless her and her family

  • She shuld join The Police Force!

  • she is such an angel for saving that man's life!!

  • brave women!

  • My God! Is she out of her mind?!

  • yes i would have done the same thing too...god bless this kind of people...

  • im a fire fghr n i would have done the same thing that lady did

  • i don't believe that she put the car in park while driving, it wouldn't be possible.. even if she managed to get it in park the parking pawl would instantly break

  • why at the end of somthing trajic on t.v they always make it like a happy ending a random ending of 2 old people and children playing bball

  • When did Rescue 911 first air on CBS

  • @styx4ever1963 April 18, 1989

  • that lady has a big heart she is a brave women i would have done the same thing GOD BLESS THAT WOMEN

  • 66 years old in 1989 now he would be 87 years OLD ....... don't you think he is dead already by now? I hope he is still alive..

for fuck sake, no mobile phone existed those days? We must appreciat MOBILE phones...............she was running like a kangroo to fid a telephone

  • No hes dead... :((

  • @GenevaSwiss 3 years later he died

  • @GenevaSwiss Yea, there were no cell phones back then, wow. Technology is amazing! But yea, he might be gone by now that was 1989!

  • @GenevaSwiss depending on the time of year he was born

  • @GenevaSwiss i was born in 1988 and i gotta say i am so grateful for mobile phones today

  • @GenevaSwiss actually they did have them except they were the size of a brick or they had a car phone

  • @GenevaSwiss oh hes alive and well

  • ARe you crazy????? You could get killed or run over trying to save that guy.

  • People think about other people now!!

you must only think about yourself!

Thats my grandfather and i love him!

  • good thing she had those ugly running shoes that dont fit with the dress, how convenient.... all she needed was a cape and she was a super hero, or she could have hooked herself up to the car like the T1000!!! Damn those Americans really know how to deal with drama!

  • Amazing how people go out of there way to help risking their own lives

  • That's the true spirit of the human race.

  • She is a truly HERO! We need more people like her in ur world, she is a blessed women with a big heart! I'll bet that old man is greatful and thankful for her, and what she did to him! Bless that woman!

  • He was greatful! Trust me!

  • she iz a hero

  • She is hero! Looks she fast run!

    Wow!

  • he would only be aboutn 84 85 years old he might not be dead my grandpa is 90 and he still can get out and do yard work go fishing on his pontoon

  • why did the fire fighter take off his shoes?

  • check for circulation i believe

  • @sessa34607 who cares if hes checking for circulation! its a moot point. if he doesnt have a carotid, he wont have a radial, and its physically impossible to maintain a distal pedal pulse. But yes, I too am also confused as to why they took his shoes off haha

  • i agree with supermom26, it is amazing how they were the only 2 to stop and help. Many people think that if they stop like that, they will get in the way, but i believe you can NEVER have too many helpers in situations like that. I always stop and help bcuz i would want people to do it if I ever got in a situation like that poor man.

  • Amazing how no-one bothers to stop and they keep driving by ?

  • Why didn't they call 911 on their cell phones... oh wait. ;-)

  • Excellent save-quick thinking, no damage to the vehicles or other people and getting help as soon as possible. Good simaritans like the ones in this video make life a whole lot better.

  • This video is MY MOST FAVORITE.

  • that woman was a hero

  • it has been exactly 20 years when this happened.

  • Hey Reman....who asked your granddad for money ? Sorry...lost that part of the story ?

  • the firefighter

  • thank you everyone who saved my grandfather im so blessed that they would do that! even though i he died befor i got to see him im so glad that glad they would do that!may god be on yalls side for ever and ever!may every good thing happen to yall!even though i never got to see him i know he would still talk about how yall saved his life!yall are the best heros!thank yall again!i could never repay you for saving my grandfather!god bless you!and thank you!

  • THis was your grandfather that passed out while driving

  • yep!!!

but he is in Heaven now!!!

  • yall

  • gas gas

  • Sound check Sound check when Moran goes out to eat

  • I think that the two people in the beginning are heroes, they didnt have to risk they're lives to help save that guy, it wasnt their job, they were fire-fighters or police officers yet they didnt think twice.

  • I have absolutely no problem personally with the off duty firefighter saying several times that his co worker's attributed his intervention to this guys survival...so be it. Fire fighters do that everyday and their all good folks but truely truely heroic people on this earth are few and far between and the first 2 initial first responders especially Lynn were the true heros in this case. I thought it was funny that 2 civilians did not keep saying I did it I did "I" did it !

  • im glad he helped!!but after all this was over and my grandfater was saved!!that man had the gut to come back and ask my grandfather for money!!!!!!

  • and also he did do something but the other people did alot more then he did to save my grandfathers life

  • a friend of mine died from a heart attack recently and i wish that i would have been there to help. i need to take cpr soon.

  • Thank you very much folks who saved the gentleman specifically the Lady you are truly hero and have a great heart. I just got impressed how she had done everything to help the man. God bless you all! PEACE!!

  • She is so nice and kind. Risking everything to save someones life. I know shes a christian and I don't even know her

  • Christians aren't the only ones who would help someone. That's really offensive.

  • Do not bother trying to reason with him/her; anyone who makes the claim of that nature will simply either ignore you or start getting even worse.

  • Yeaaaaaaaaa!

  • that woman is amazing

  • The people have it wrong, a heart attack is abnormal heart beat not no beat at all, that's cardiac arrest.

  • "Heart attack" can refer to an AMI OR Cardiac Arrest. Also, an AMI can of course lead to Cardiac Arrest

  • I LOVE IT!!

    HEROES FOR LIFE!!! (L)

  • That beautiful woman running after the car is so incredible-- and fast. What a great person.

  • Nice defibrillator work!

  • Thank you God for paramedics and those who take time for those in need !!!

  • THOSE PARAMEDICS ARE TRUE HEROES!!!

  • That girl was so grave; she could of got runned over by the car.

  • grateful people, very

  • wonerderful thank for uploading

  • I loved watching this show growing up. This story happened in my home town of Jackson, MS at the corner of Terry Rd. and McDowell Rd. One of the paramedics that worked this was Sammy Sabine. One of the best paramedics in the Jackson area. We all gathered around the TV when this episode first aired cause we new one of the paramedics. Glad it did have a happy ending.

  • *cries*

  • This segment gave me a horrible nightmare when I was little. Especially the part where the man's head went down on the seat and the lady running to stop the car. I watch now as an adult, it doesn't bother me anymore.

  • This is so sad, that guyt reminds me so much of my grandpa,on march 26th of 1987 my grandpa was driving down 1-75 and he started going into seizures and he lost consiuness, luckily i was in the car with him and i took cpr for 8 years im so glad he's still alive

  • Lovely ending, thanks for uploading.

  • bless 'em.

  • sad.

  • hahahahahahaha

  • the lady said she wanted to be a part of helping but does she not know she did one of the major parts by stopping the car that could crash?

  • wow...she should try out for track

  • he could crash

  • This woman was incredible!!! Bless you!

  • I love this show but they stoped showing it on discovery. Thank you allgood2000 for uploading these videos.

  • OMG that woman is amazing

  • What year is the Plymouth Reliant and Lincoln Town Car is this Rescuee 911 segment?

  • I would estimate the Plymouth to be any model year from '81 to '84, while the Lincoln is most likely an '86 or later.

  • Actually I was mistakenly thinking of an Aries/Reliant seen in another similar segment. The one seen here is definitely from the late '80's.

  • Then how come the Plymouth had a scary buzzer despite having a blue interior while the Lincoln with red interior had the gentle chime? Shouldn't it have been the other way around where the red interior Lincoln has the scary buzzer?

  • Awsome work by the Women!! Thanks to Allgood2000 for all the videos he posted because this is my fav show of all time!! Keep it up

  • hey the person that as these tapes keep them on there because i miss these shows but that girl is a hero keep putting them on there if you can and how do you put tapes on here i dont know how to do it

  • I bought some thing at best buy that lets me run a composite cord from my VCR into my computer's USB port.

  • @allgood2000 I remember watching an episode where a building was on fire with tires next to it. While on scene, something from the top of the building fell down on top of a firefighter. Any idea what I'm talking about?

  • @OneSkiWonder That's "Firefighter Down" from Episode 318.

  • jesus that woman has extra strength adrenaline!!

  • Dam she can run!

  • @JediSCUME

I have a feeling the car was only going about 2 or 3 MPH. They made it look faster on the show. Like the part where she puts the car in park and it skids to a stop. I doubt the car was going fast enough to skid. I love this show, though.

  • SHE ran to catch up with the car, SHE stopped it, SHE realizes the man isn't breating, but then the young guy sent her away to call for help, so she has to run more!

  • @VinnyCons LOL that's exactly what I thought too, dang poor skinny little hero has to run some more and not only to one place but many, what a women, now days people wouldn't pick up there cell phone to help ya but she ran a marathon for a stranger! WOW AMAZING!

  • holy crap! Superwoman!

  • Thanks for posting all these Rescue 911 videos!

  • were did you get all of these????

  • I have them on tape.

  • @allgood2000 do you have anymore me an my family watch all of these an we would love more
