i admit, archers and acolytes are very strong, however, that doesn't mean the others suck. all the classes are great. it depends on your battle style. if there was a versus mode in this game, there are lenty of people that could kick your butt with a magician, merchant, warrior, or thief.
The upside in an archer is the really fast, powerful and long-ranged attacks. Try using a Charged Arrow with a M-Archer. 3k damage to the ENTIRE SCREEN. And Double Strafe deals 8k+, while being REALLY fast. Not only that, M-Archers can spam Arrow Shower, and avoid most attacks, while still attacking.
All characters have their qualities, and these are most of M-Archers'
@brphoenix i hate arrow shower on the m-archer. i like it on the female. but i do agree on the double strafe. i only ever use charge arrow on stage 9 and 3
@LoveNoteProjects Charge has its uses, and has better damage-per-mana ratio than double strafe, though is slower.
The m-archer's arrow shower is really effective when you're airborne. Double jump, arrow down, then spam arrow shower and you can't be hit by most foes.
@LoveNoteProjects however you can't spam downward arrows while airborne. And charging arrows takes a long time, time you most often don't have especially during boss fights.

With the way this game works it would probably either eat your memory right up or lag like hell.
Personally I say it should just have online multilayer support, not a whole mmo.

The others don't suck. If you can't use them doesn't mean that they suck. Thieves are were always good in RO and are currently extremely powerful.

In this game, the Acolytes and Archers are the strongest. The others SUCK, and the thiefs used to be really good in RO

IMO archers suck; they do less then all but acolytes, and die pretty easily. 5k damage, tops, with perfectly aimed air arrow shower or DS.
And Acolytes.. only upside is they can't die, unless suicidal.
Mage+ThunderBolt+SafetyWall=Invincibility+9k damage to all visible monsters.
Merchants.. meh. Tons of hp though, +pots +discount makes you near-invincible.
Theif+ShadowCopy+Hide/Envenom=9k damage. Each.
And magnum break with a female warrior. Invincibility, 9k damage. 'Nuff said

Um.. female archer can do 10k-20k with arrow shower depending on the size of the mob...
double strafe= a quick 5k-7k
