@sapasol so when he had to play a soldier who became paralyzed and wheel chair bound. and he spent time with actual real soldiers, in a wheel chair to prepare for the part, that wasn't method acting?
Strasberg misrepresented the system of Stanislavsky and created the method. Therefore you can say that Stanislavsky only invented a system and not a method.
Okay, you might have done better to leave out the three dorks from Centron's short film, "What About Juvenile Delinquency?" (I believe that's them starting at about 4:50...?) Also, you need diction lessons and you also need to talk in your own "chest voice," not someone else's. Also, see kieltybell's notes above. But the Please Do A Spot Against the Reds or You'll Be Blacklisted John Wayne footage is priceless -- where from? Anyway, I'm adding this to my "Koltya's Kids" list for Method Actors.
Excellent piece...you need a voice over which is more subtle and doesnt keep nudging you that its "satire"...if people dont realise thats what it is - dont "indicate". That's not the method, is it? If you want a new voice over send me the text and I'll do it for you...I have enough arrogance for both of us (see kieltybell)

Actually The "method" is a phrase that non actors and critics coined. Stasberg spoke about the term and was strongly against it.
