every chevy i had let me down. Right on the side of the road. So i bought a dodge truck an my wife a ford truck. Ever since then we have been on the road instead of on the side of it. Thanks chevy for nothing!

The only reason you could lean on a Ford is cause it broke on the side of the road, And I wouldnt recomend leaning on it, cause the pannel you leaned on would break off, or become severley damaged.

Thats how things used to be. Good old Chevrolets that got the job done. Now it is all about computer screens in the dash. See that old sawmill and old phonebooth. Not many of either around anymore. Jobs gone overseas and a cell phone that tells everyone where I am at, at all times. Bring back the simple times.
I drive my moms unmodified 1993 chevrolet silverado suburban with the origional turbo 400 transsmission and the orignal tonnawanda 454 and it has 430K on it. We called chevy about it and they said HOLLY CRAP! the only thing they offered for having the engine reasurcehd was a "Free oilchange" what bastards, we got the holy grail of engine longevity and they wanted to give us a free oilchange? its like traiding the fountan of youth for a lousy $20.
I have my Dad's old '85 ahort bed C10 stepside sitting in the driveway...172,000 miles when it was parked in 2001...305 4 speed manual overdrive..someday I plan to restore it and put it back on the road...

They just added 700 jobs in the chevy/GMC truck plant in my hometown of Fort Wayne Indiana. We now make a good portionof the 1500s - 3500s. They had to expand the plant to accomdate the new jobs. :)
cool, at least its still north of mexico. Are they the full size truck ? I just want a Chevy Truck, made by real ppl makin a wage that I can justify payin the money for. Im really thinkin bout Ford, I want to kick myself, I grew up in Oshawa and really think GM let the best truck go to waste so for the first time in my life, well..........Ford Trucks are really nice to look at, i'm gonna have a look.

Nice commercial, but I love the big 3 all the same, but Ford the most..(I like the 70-80s body style.)
