  • Kwazy storm. But yeah its the ghosting thing. I WAS THE 3,000 VIEWER!

  • wow, just wow. those are some fucking mean looking clouds.

  • if that was a few feet away it was be extremely loud, that was just the reflection of the strike in the lense. its suprising how many people mistake this but there would be no wait for the thunder if it hit feet away, the thunder would be instantanious and rediculously loud.

  • Wow, How freighting...A little to close for comfort. Great Take!

  • Yeah i saw this storm while I was in school man the lightning was pretty close. Then a 2nd squall line came in and produce nickel size hail, cloud to ground lightning, and unfortunitly no wind. However, it caused updrafts and downdrafts in that storm and I think it produced a funnel cloud. But it was a very intense storm.

  • u would have heard the thunder immediately if if was "a few feet away" and it would have sounded like a bomb.

  • That's what's called a ground leader. Search it on wikipedia.

  • was that tornadic

  • Yes it was. There were a few funnel clouds associated with this particular storm. Not very common for New Hampshire.

  • It's a ghosting effect. The lightning is too fast for your camera or it reflects on your camera, so it looks close, but it is not as close. Nice taping though.
