The kid was using terminology which, very specifically, only older gays would have ever heard of - and certainly not some closeted high school jock. The dialogue was totally, horrifically unrealistic. It ruined any chance of this film being worth anything.

They must have run out of money, I think. Otherwise I can`t understand why something that looked so promising in part 1, could fall so absolutely flat on its face in part 2. Too little money, and too many comprimizes - and a promising script is ruined totally. In the original script we might have found the answer to all the questions you raised, timotito2. But if you haven`t seen it, I can recomend the

Australian short The Visitor. Mystrerious, almost ghostlike - keep you guessing all the way.

What happend? Did they run out of money, or something? Ending was a bit abrupt. I loved the first part, especially the scene on the bus, both the dialog and the clever angles they used to cover up the fact that it was a minibus. And the diary voiceover was a brilliant way to introduce scenes they could not afford to shoot. But the whole film was a little too short. And they should have focused more on the main charachter`s family and friends, and less on Joe Orton. Thats my opinion, anyway.

@Tvjunkieful12 I agree that the ending was quite sudden and out of sync with the rest of the story. For one, why was he not suited up for practice? And that was quite brave of him to kiss the guy and walk off. I'd like to see if anything further happened (good or bad) between them. Did Matt get beat up for such a move, or did the object of his affections return the favor? I guess we'll never know.

And oh that underground public toilet. Yes, it was quite scary looking!

The difference between this movie and the other one is that I find closeted life both uninspiring and ultimately boring.
