But that's okay, a year ago i would feel insulted for the boys but now, knowing HOW MANY PEOPLE WORLDWIDE REALLY LIKE THEM, i feel great listening such kinds of 'reviews'. You know i'm 23 and i listen to music considered as classic rock e.g Deep Purple, Queen, Uriah Heep, Pink Floyd and i STILL love McFly!
I've just searched the Canadian and American Gold & Platinum certification sites for McFly and found no entries, nor did I find any chart activity on Billboard outside of Europe.
At the moment McFly's generic filler material is obviously not required in the North American market, the American labels having plenty of their own to offer.
Oh for god's sake, why bother saying that they're just gaining lots of money, and that's the only reason they want to make music? They're on their own record label, so any money they do get is used to try and support the label.

I'm 21. I love their music, they actually know how to write music and they enjoy what they do. And yes, I immediately enjoyed their music because it caught my attention. But they are growing up and evolving. They're coming into their own, give them a break.

dictionary definition of boyband: a Band of male members that do not play instruments.
it was something like that in my dictionary anyway. ;) also there's nothing wrong with being a young fan. I'm 14, and listen to mcfly for their music. I'm actually, believe it or not, at the younger end of the scale of mcfly fans. there was an age poll on their forum.
oh, and if anyone EVER compares mcfly to high school fucking musical, i will cut their nuts off :')

Okay, I get that that's your opinion, but mate, you need to be able to back it up with facts to actually make a decent argument.
McFly aren't a boyband for starters. Did backstreet boys write/compose and play their OWN music? Noooo, they did not.
I'll admit, radioactive isn't their best, by far. But they've got amazing talent and it's better than anything you (or I) could do. So, give the lads a break? Yeah?

So shame, it wasn't even not your opinion. But that's okay, a year ago i would feel insulted for the boys but now, knowing HOW MANY PEOPLE WORLDWIDE REALLY LIKE THEM, i feel great listening such kinds of 'reviews'. You know i'm 23 and i listen to music considered as classic rock e.g Deep Purple, Queen, Uriah Heep, Pink Floyd and i STILL love McFly!
Anyway, it was really educative vid.

I've just searched the Canadian and American Gold & Platinum certification sites for McFly and found no entries, nor did I find any chart activity on Billboard outside of Europe.
At the moment McFly's generic filler material is obviously not required in the North American market, the American labels having plenty of their own to offer.

Oh for god's sake, why bother saying that they're just gaining lots of money, and that's the only reason they want to make music? They're on their own record label, so any money they do get is used to try and support the label.

mcfly left their major label and they make music that they like
the album is a fun album to listen to, especially whilst in a car
it's a mature album compared to their last efforts, made when they were 16

They do definitely have talent, and that moving to a "more mature sound" is what I meant when I said the band should come to a conclusion. I didn't mean "conclusion" to imply disbanding."

Im really not seeing the connection with High School Musical buddy sound nothing like that as far as im concerned.
Also a boy band is like backstreet boys or human nature. McFly are a band they play thier instruments and write their own songs.
