I think China's policy on Tibet is very problematic. Unlike han Chinese, Tibetans are very straight, artistic, passionate, and religious. they cant expect them to want the same thing. build infrastructure, back up their economy, and develop a hot pot for culture, tourist, religion. They should try to leave the landscape untouched, and give the singers/dancers/scholors from there a chance for bigger stage.

It is true that the CCP's rule is not perfect, far from it. However no one can deny that the living conditions in Tibet have improved since the Chinese ousted the theocratic government then in place.
