ok I have a Gateway laptop MD7818u Intel Core 2 Duo Laptop with 4GB of RAM and i was wondering if I can upgrade the ram to like 12GB or 6GB , Also when i bought my laptop it says it has 500GB and when i Check for the memory storage section it has two separate Hard Disks one says OS and the one Says Data but I dont know if you can combine them to have one main hard drive.

Just the MC series. The MD series doesn't even have the shortcut touch keys on the left side, just the multimedia buttons on the right side. Hope that answers your question.

That is NOT the md7801u.

That's is actually an md7820u.

MD7801 and MD7818 have the same hard drive space: 500GB

The MD7820U, is burgundy and is 320 GB.

PLUS, the MD7801 is only black.

Actually this IS the Gateway md-7801u notebook check on gateway's website. This guy (the one in the video) just picked my laptop for me can't wait til December to get it! (Christmas present)

any laptop you have will be fast in running multiple websites or HD if it has the right hardware and memory in its system. it isn't so much the manufacturer--it's the parts in the computer casing and how much memory you have available.

It does not have a Graphics Card, it has an Intel Graphics Accelerator. This is a beautiful laptop that is bang-for-buck, but I'm having a dilemna with the video memory. It has an ExpressCard 54 expansion slot, but I don't think there are any ExpressCard 54 Video Card expansions. There is only the TV cards, but not Video Memory. I am saddened by this fact, because I would have loved to put at least 512MB extra Video Memory in it to play games.
