"Bringer of awe and derision," should be, "Bringer of pain and derision," and, "Thou art the king of howling wolves," should be, "Thou art king of the wolves." Anyone else think so too?

I think they've changed the fingering a bit to be easier to play, but this really is very different in sounds from the 1995 album. That is not unexpected, as they've done a lot of live gigs before this one. The album sounds wouldn't work live.

If you talk about the riffs itself, no, this is the same riff they played on Nightside Eclipse. I don't find it any different. Nothing has changed, only the sound they play it with. Too clear, less emotion?

i'd say less muddy. Sure lo-fi has its own distinctive sound and can give some songs a really awesome feel (Nattens Madrigal?) sometimes a clear sound can be a good thing too.
