that is so true... everyone does this with Vista.. i say try installing an antivirus, firewall and all the programs, codecs, etc you need and then we'll see...
Good boot but. it only boots like this when you just install windows. i got the same results when i installed my 3500 Inspiron ( 297mHz Pentium II) but as soon as you install any programs ( eg. anti virus, firefox, zone alarm) the boot up is slowed down by 6-30 seconds overall good video
My old Dell does XP SP3 in 5 seconds! check my channel:)

45 seconds is average, his/her computer booted in around 20. That's about half the time of a normal boot up, so yes, it is fast.
Also, "ain't" is not a word.
