Heh, oddly worded question kid. If you want a beginner tournament, just hit up your local field. Play some 3 man young guns. We all did it at one point in time. Once you consistently win play a regional, (CFOA, CTS, AXBL, whatever).

Depends on how long it takes for you to jump in to the tournament scene.

You'll probably play walk-ons for your first year or two. Once your ready you should play a few small tournaments called locals.

When your ready, play a national event in a lower division. Like D4-5man PSP.

After spending a season or two in the lower division you should bump to Xball.

Takes about 4 years of tourny play to be good on average, but it depends on how dedicated you are.

A few years ago I would agree and its still not proper form., but shooting crosshanded actually saves time. Its quicker to just cross quickly than to switch hands. You can also shoot crosshanded when your pinched and switching hands would expose to much.
