@geckoisgiko They limit their cars to 155m/h because even though the the top speed achievable from the engine is much much higher it would mean other parts of the car would have to be manufactured to be able to cope safely and effectively with such speed, and doing this would push the price up and put the cars out of their target markets, basically.

@KamZ94 this car is ugly. Cadillac has better styling, better luxury, and better performance. It does NOT hit 80k, but starts at 63. I have had more problems with German cars than I have ever had with American cars. Nothing you have said is backed up by anything. You're just too reluctant to admit that the cts-v beats the m5 on every category except for badging. watch the tests yourself. More power, faster to 60, faster to 100, faster from 100-0, faster around tracks, pulls more g's in turns.

this summer a friend and i got a 735i in america for $400 it was a good car, we got it to prove that a car can handle the dirtbike roads in the desert near my town. it was amazing! steered well, made a great doughnut spinner. it wasnt quite as reliable as i would have liked. after only a few hours of punishment it quit.

If you look at the BMW M history. BMW M is awaiting the designers at BMW to finish the standard car (BMW 535i for example), then they start to build the design from the ground up to an M car. This process usually takes about 1-2 years. And thus, the new M car to be sold 1-2 years after the standard car.

These cars are highly engineered, only engineers would appreciate this car and most engineers are petrol heads anyhow (Me included) I have owned 7 BMWs, 4 Mercedes and now own an Alfa Romeo. I live in the US so they're are not many 164 LS models around like German cars, that's why I bought it. ;)
