I hope that the next generation of consoles has SSDs. I'm gonna guess because of the cost of them still, that it'll be two generations from now but oh well.

I just wish consoles could be incrementally updated because I have an insane gaming PC but all my friends play on consoles so I'm stuck going back and forth

if you know programming you should know what hes talking about

even if not able to run advanced skill to build from scratch the tool manager needed for the games.

Besides,he talks about others company as well and how he manage to make thing together,but as for the projects goes wide different systems and hardware,

the need for a default base where creation work does not get lost on hardware specifications.

Mirrors edge did well but nearly great and condemned didnt even do well. I do want fps's do be different but it wont happen often and this game looks more different then most, Post apocolyptic, cool enemies to kill, open world and driving combat.

I didn't care for Fallout 3, but I loved New Vegas and Borderlands, and I'm excited for Deus Ex: Human Revolution, but Rage looks fantastic. And clearly, DrugMan, you don't know who Carmack is.

@DrugMan24 actually, fallout 3 and borderlands were rpgs. That casued the terrible gunplay and borring singleplayer. RAGE has solid fps gameplay and singleplayer, the smallish open worldsidequests and racing are the bonus

They try to take a linear fps like say the big scores, cod, fear, killzone, resistance and put stuff from games like gta and fallout without changing the fps gameplay

In any case rage graphics are a joke. LITTERALY they are not "impressive" just colorfull with lack of quality

IT was demoed on PC, now just before the player goes into the sewers he talks to a npc, look behind him and you will notice a terribly blurry maintance console like it came from the ps2 era. FACT
