Brilliant acting, wonderful writing but I really wish I could once, just once, see a show or a film that truly depicts what happens when you give someone an injection to calm them down...nothing! Nothing happens immediately. Takes at least 15 minutes for that stuff to work it's way in. If you are really, really lucky, maybe 10 minutes but it sure isn't anywhere close to instant. I should know, it's my job to give those injections. Just had to rant. Gotta say though, I Love this show!

@KittyNightfox I think in this case, David did a brilliant job. If you look closely, you will see he portrayed that bit about the needle by taking the time to finish his words. He repeated the bit before completing his sentence about the tear in the dogs eye. So in that, I feel that David is showing he knows the truth about the drugs. He is portraying that it takes awhile for the drug to take it's effect on him. I hope you know / understand what I am saying.

Tennant's expression at 4:20 is simply brilliant. Just caps off that whole scene perfectly. You know in that instant that Campbell has won the battle. So well played. The guy's a study in what it means for an actor to understand the character and their story.

That's his real hair. Check out his radio interview with Jonathan Ross (it's how I found out about this series) he says that it's his hair but as he grew older the color grew darker....and I'm not obsessing or anything you should listen to that dialogue it's hilarious!
