It DOES work. You have to know that there's a huge difference between pulling the 40ton Superjet or pulling a truck trailer with the same weight. Aircraft tires are inflated with 12-18 bars. They have a much lower rolling friction than a regular trucktrailer.
I worked for the Swiss Air Force. The pulling trucks for our 25ton F/A-18 only had 150hp and ~3 tons of weight.

You should've figured out that I was using it to compare against standard tow ratings from the manufacturer. Also, special jet tugs are made in tall gearing. That's why they don't need a lot of power to pull heavy things. They just focus on added weight(like a forklift) and gearing. They use tall gearings to their advantage. How do you think one of those tiny little things can pull a DreamLiner?

@c0c0asauce the reliability is garbage. i work on these first hand, my mother was interested in buying one and refused to get one after seeing the amount of electrical issues i was having to repair on these vehicles. I love audi and love working on them, but this vehicle overall has a lot of electrical issues and will give you a lot of grief. Mainly SRS systems and individual interior modules.
AND, car´s like this are a WASTE of money. after one year, they lose about 50% of they´re value! You wanna throw money out of your window, cause you have to much of it? then let me know where you live;-)

I've seen a man pull a Boeing 747 so it's no big deal this video. I'd be shocked if it couldn't do it. Once the plane is moving, it needs little effort to keep it going the man who pulled a 747 said.

only people who think these are a waste of money cant afford one...they are very fast for their size, 25 mpg is impressive from an SUV never mind a V12, if you wanted to get to highway speeds with any sort of haste, wanted to ride in comfort with a huge amount of space, had children you wanted to protect, and had the ability to afford this then why wouldn't you buy one.

@c0c0asauce the reliability is garbage. i work on these first hand, my mother was interested in buying one and refused to get one after seeing the amount of electrical issues i was having to repair on these vehicles. I love audi and love working on them, but this vehicle overall has a lot of electrical issues and will give you a lot of grief. Mainly SRS systems and individual interior modules.
