I'm not a big Rodriguez fan myself. However - as a die hard Yankee fan (not to mention HUGE Jeter fan...), we shouldn't be kicking people off the team without thinking first. You've seen it in the newspapers - the Yankees were all depending on ARod to lead us to the World Series. I knew he'd be useless for the playoffs, because he didn't get ANY HITS. However, he did lead us to the playoffs. He's a great player, good looking, but his personality SUCKS. It desperately needs to change.

I think Johnny handled himself well in this interview. I am a Red Sox fan, but I also admire Joe Torre's managerial abilities. I have followed the Red Sox for 51 years (yes, YOU do the math), through thick and thin, they remain my team. In some ways, I wanted the Yankees to win the ALCS and come into Fenway on Friday, but I'm happy to see Cleveland as well. Eric Wedge is also an excellent manager. Let the games begin!!
