  • i just bought the Adizero 2.5 by rose and i bought court grip and i used it once just to try it and it kinda sticked to the floor and i wanted to know if i should continue using it on dusty courts. it worked good the first time. will it ruin my $110?

  • FUCK NIGGERS!

  • @jnjhjhjhjhjhjhjhj RACIST

  • that shyt dont work it only work at the beginning of the game and it start wearing out it only last for like 3 to 5 min u have to keep putting it on and shyt

  • try using rubing alcohol! it works longer cause i have tried this too

  • LIKE SO EVERYONE WILL SEE .

The best way to get real court grip is get a wet paper towel and rinse the bottom of your shoes .

Next dry it with a paper towel without it being moist at ALL .

  • gatorade works better than this hahahaha

  • Wow man I'm an employee at footlocker and we're forced to promote the shit out of this. Smh I will never recommend it now. Thanks

  • Hey man, I have the 2011 nike zoom hyperdunks and i'm looking for SUPERIOR grip whenever. So you don't recommend this stuff and people tell me that using brush bristles will weaken the material (rubber)'s strength. Then do you have any tips for me? Thank you.

  • thanks saved me cash, liked and subbed

  • Thanks or this helped me out alot on a project I'm doing

  • lol the commercial shows D.Wayde just rubbing it on once, and head back to the court right away..

  • Acetone is used as a cleaner, primary ingredient in nail polish remover. Basically, the acetone will remove any oil or grease buildup on your shoes. Even from the factory, a lot of shoes will have leftover residue and so fourth. So by removing it....the shoes seem to have more grip. Problem is, acetone is harsh on rubber products

  • If I put court grip on my crazy lights will they fall apart

  • 5/5

    Good review

thanks for saving me 15 bucks

  • @LindoOchaMcCue - Thanks!

  • This work awesome with my D.rose 2 and my fly wade 2

  • @TheJovan21 - those both have above average traction already no matter the court condition.

  • Wow! Interesting. Was looking into this stuff and thought it was hype. Acetone is not a good product to endorse. Thought this stuff was more like a glue or wax based product with adhesive tacky qualities. Hmm...Did you ever do a Stupidly Light Review vs. Crazy Light?...(stability etc.)

  • @sawink - I havent reviewed those shoes and i might not be able to get them into the lineup as I already have a ton to do still.

  • how long do these last?

and will it work for outdoor bball?

  • @bobthej23 - indoor only. It is stated on the lable it lasts for up to 15 mins.

  • you saved me bro.. thanks !

  • @Alex60531 rite

  • This product is a scam they even disable comments on their channels about the product lol

  • This stuff works great

  • Thats crazyyy

  • VERY informative. all your reviews are great! you saved a lot of ballers with this one

  • @sjong21 - Thanks bro!

  • 7:25 smells like straight up (ass)etone lol!

  • why would d-wade even put his name on this product

  • you saved me...i just brought customized kobe's 4 $225 and i was gonna use that.....thank u bro

  • @nightwing2303 Oh ok. Thanks

  • WOW - do your homework. The comparison to lip balm is weak. Your skin adapts to conditions like lip balm, but your sole on the bottom of your shoe does not - it is an inanimate object. I can use Axe deodorant to do the same thing to the top of the shoe if I did it for long enough. You only really need to apply 1-2 times before playing. This product will not work the same on an old court or eliminate dust. Compare it in a well kept college gym to the rec center.

    Court Grip Works.

  • @simienantonisparr - I did my homework. If you play on a well kept gym floor there would be no need for the product at all... unless your shoes have traction issues but even then this wouldnt help much. I applied according their instructions. The fact is they advertise the product as 'fighting against dust' - watch the ads - yet it doesnt work on any court except a clean one, in which case you wouldnt need the product at all.

  • @nightwing2303 your soap and water idea might just be enough motivation for me to get a ymca membership that makes me want to play regularly, cuz i'm alot like you when it comes to traction.

  • the cap comes off way to easy

  • thanks for telling everyone

  • wow this guy knows his stuff. U just earned yourself another subsciber :)

  • @nightwing2303 dude ur getting me scared! i just bought a pair of dope d wade 2s and put this stuff on once on the shoes. are they gonna be ok?????

  • @sonicskills123 - keep it on the rubber only and they should be ok.

  • Windex works really good

  • This works greay

  • Off topic from video but can you do a review of the kobe 7's?

  • @bakuganman26 - currently being tested. You can stay current with upcoming reviews by visiting sneakerfiles . com/oncourt

  • Always wondered when watching your vids.... the heck is that typing noise in the background?!?

  • @memphisboi55 it's the autofocus on his camera

  • @nightwing2303 u r a fag, the reason it doesnt work is because it doesn't work on shitty players like u asswipe

  • @fishinfury007 Hey kid. Calm down. It's just a video.

  • you really know your stuff... i had the same problem with this product and will look forward to watching your other videos and will recommend them to my friends. :)

  • @styleandease23 - Thanks!

  • @styleandease23 Ive actually used this product since it came out...i have not had any problems with my sneakers..its been 3 months now..just saying i had no problems and love the product

  • @nightwing2302 how come my comment keeps getting deleted..i love court grip..1. its not chapstick 2. you dont rub it on top of your sneaker 3. it works great ..stop hating

  • Could you do a review on the mission power grip too?

  • @bakuganman26 - very soon

  • wow thanks a lot for making this, i could've endangered my shoes by using this lol

  • @nightwing2303 im not sure if u know but is there a filler to fill in your sneaker when they start to squeak when you walk?

  • damn, and it seemed like it wouldve worked. oh well, back to lickin my shoes :P

  • hehehe .... stripper

  • nice vids man

  • @jgang09 - Thanks!

  • can u do a top 10 basketball shoe of 2011 plz that would be cool

  • @RUKYorROOKIE - I was already planning on it.

  • @RUKYorROOKIE - I will be doing something like that.

  • Hey i wanna ask how long would the KD3's hold up if i sue it for Outdoor ball and for P.E Class?

  • @thejjb14 - They will hold up just fine, very thick and durable rubber outsole on them.

  • he said it smells like straight up ASS.........etone. lol

  • and also, dwayne wade needs to watch this.

  • Why did you delete the fakes video?

  • @airjordan23III - I didnt, someone flagged it and it was removed.

  • shoutout to the homie nightwing2303 for hookin me up with the sole supremacy tee! thanks bro its fresh and goes right with my Aj sixes.

  • @N8CHO - Nice!

  • what a terrible product

  • Hey bro, what happened to the cool grey vid?

  • @devonjcarter33 - Someone flagged it and it was removed.

  • Can you do a video on how you clean your sneakers OR could you let me know what you would recommend to clean basketball shoes? Anything specific you use or is there anything on the market?

  • @ASmoove05 - Thats is something that RestoreMySneakers does for you, you should check them out... great vids.

  • "NO I WILL NOT GIVE IT TO ANYBODY, CAUSE I DONT BELIEVE IN THE PRODUCT" hahaha......Dwade shoulda said that instead!!! too funny!!! THANK FOR THE INFO THOUGH, good stufff

  • Few questions. Hey my teammates say that this product works if you only just apply it one coat right before the game do you know if that works im too nervous to try its? How do you clean the hyperfuse material on the lebron 8 ps? P.S. Thanks for the shirt just got it lol! Oh and was there different sizes or were they all XL nvm its still a great shirt.

  • @ongbros - I did as the product instructed. Your friends experience goes against what the maufacturer claims is the proper way to apply the product and exactly how the product is 'supposed' to work as well... court grip contacted me with info that I cant reveal at this time. There were a few M & L but if you didnt request a sz I had to give you a XL which there were more of.

  • bro could you make a review on the mission power grip? its supposed to be liquid chalk..

  • @souljasai - I will be, waiting for my hands to heal up.

  • I have a feeling there's going to be a ton of recalls for this product.

  • @MSUSpartans43 - I dont know but we will see.

  • hey nightwing2303, on footlocker.ca it actually says youre only supposed to apply from toe to heal and back to toe once and not over apply. Thant may be the reason why its over stick to attract dirt.

  • @1MrBallisLife1 - I did exactly as the instructions said. It even says to re apply as often as you like on the bottle...

  • Will you be doing an under armour bloodline review?

  • @cornisgood613 - I will do my best.

  • off topic, but do you know the difference between the hyperdunk 2011 and hyperdunk 2011 supreme? or the fuse 2011 and supreme version?

  • LOOOOOOOL WOW

  • thank you finally

  • @gunsANDraybans12 - No Prob.

  • Do you think it will damage the hyperdunk 2011

  • @dh4mlb - Its always possible.

  • nice cherrywood 16s in the background, i have a pair myself

  • @Sinz327 - Thanks! I love those things!

  • I put this on my beater Aqua 8's once, and so far, thank god, I haven't seen any rubber peeling. But I'm sure as hell going to stop. Thank you so much for the review, I would have never known.

  • @PedobearNGU - Thanks for watching!

  • I'm glad that I waited for your review before going out and getting myself one. Great review and sorry to hear about your shoes.

  • @kevin88808 - Thanks bro! Its not a big deal, it was for a purpose at least.

  • sorry about your shoes getting ruined by that stuff. but now we know the truth...i'm really surprised that there is acetone in them lol always good to read what goes in to something.

  • @Lemke68 - It was for a reason so Im not too bummed about it.

  • as alwys nice review bro.. dope jacket anyway

  • @Bern35as - Thanks!

  • fuk d wade

  • @laylowtech - I like Wade lol.

  • @nightwing2303 lol i dont now i dont like him even more 4 mess n up ur shoes

  • Have you seen the fly wade 2 yet? those look sick..

  • @This7is7my7Insanity - Yes I have and I agree!

  • @This7is7my7Insanity - Yes I have and I agree!

  • thanks nightwing! this might have actually been your best review so far, considering your warning us from a heavily promoted but proven harmful and dangerous product. sorry you had to sacrifice two sneaker though...

  • @lee7kenswi - Thanks bro! They were sacrificed for a good cause lol.

  • Dude love your videos and thanks for the insight!

  • @goodfellaB - Thanks!

  • I've been using Court Grip for the past month on my Hyperfuses and I haven't had any problems with it. I would suggest trying it out before dismissing it based off of one guy's review. I didn't try it out on my best shoes right out the gate; I wouldn't try out any new product on my best stuff. It worked for me on some beat kicks, and then I tried it out on my Hyperfuses.

  • @Soupinit - Im glad its working out for you. Hyperfuse have outdoor specific rubber along with a solid rubber outsole, no shank or carbon fiber plate attached, so any issue with this stuff eating away at the glue wont happen... just with certain shoes. It could still damage the rubber over time since acetone is corrosive towards the material.

  • From an expert!!! *

  • Thank you! Can't wait for LeBron 9's!!! Please try and make it your next video, I need to know how they perform!

  • @RCBasketballIsLife22 - The Rose will be next but the LeBron right after that. I'll be trying to upload a new review each week in Dec.

  • Great review..I have a habit of wiping the bottom of my sneakers every dead ball with my hands...guess i have to keep doing that

  • @TheSneakerRobot - Same here lol.

  • Does dish soap and water really improve ur traction? Outdoors especially? It would be cool if it does.

  • @DennislovesSwift - For outdoors you cant improve the traction since the court is already full of dirt and debris. Indoor it works pretty well. Basically you just need to clean the soles to make sure traction is at its highest level... that and hope the floors are kept clean as well.

  • Great video again! Always excited to see your new vids.

  • @Aerseus - Thanks!

  • An amazing review mate. I worked in the rubber industry for 12 years, so as soon as you mentioned it had acetone in, I knew this would not end well. Seriously what the hell. It's a joke that they can even sell that stuff...

  • @mightycol - Thanks bro, appreciate it! Acetone and rubber dont mix lol.

  • @nightwing2303 so gald tat i only knew how to used a lil bit cuz i didnt kno how to use all of it lik tat cuz it was working when i only used jus a dap

  • @joeyj607 - I just used it as directed. Over time itll still damage your shoes.

  • @joeyj607 One of my boys follows your blog and forwarded me this video. I have been using court grip for the past couple of months on my Lebrons and have had no problems. The stuff flat out works. Not sure why you are hatin’ on this product.

  • The 1 dislike is from Mission....

  • @AnimalUnleashedHD - I always get a few thumbs down lol.

  • Great review I was debating on this and because of this I'll stay away from it thanks man keep it up!!

  • @DopeTasticMedia - Thanks man!

  • @mj23td21jk6 - Thanks!

  • @mj23td21jk6 - Its alright... it was for a purpose at least.

  • good vid man always bringing the info on stuff people want to know keep it up dope

  • @gbreezy3 - Thanks bro!

  • Same thing happend to my new shoes after a week of this product my new hyperdunks r really starting to seprate wish u would hav done review b4 I got haahhaa

  • @The6amproduction this product should reimburse u for ur shoes!

  • @The6amproduction - That sucks man...

  • what happened to your fingers? i didnt catch it in the vid haha

  • @jamasterj25786 - Its not something you can see on camera. My finger tips split open from handleing the ball a lot aka increased playing time. My index and middle fingers on both hands have splits on them where your 'rings' of your finger print are from getting dry off of the leather ball.

  • @nightwing2303 ouch! that sucks man hope it heels soon!

  • @jamasterj25786 - Happens all the time lol. They usually dont heel bc of all my time spent on court.

  • Damn D Wade first the Wade fly, then no championship ring, now this b.s. you just can win this year O_o

  • @dfizz313 - I liked the Fly Wade lol

  • Will you review power grip?

  • @prayermair - Yes, Im waiting for my fingers to heal up so it doesnt burn when I apply it.

  • Wow this product sucks

  • Great review! :D U're doing a good job tell people the truth, if not many might get their shoes destroyed very soon. U just saved a whole lot of shoe man!

  • @WesleyToh - Thanks bro, appreciate it!

  • that intro will never get old haha

  • @ShinobiPheonix1 - lol, thanks! I was thinking about changing it sometime but not sure yet.

  • informative!!

  • @TheRacer80sg - Thanks!

  • I love this channel, but whoever puts it on their midsole then their an idiot.

  • @CJamesNy - Thanks... it was just to demonstrate what could happen if youre not careful with the product.

  • This is very informative glad im subbed to you nightwing!

But watching your video now i don't think im gonna buy court grip.

But a product like court grip is exactly what i needed because i often play in some dusty ass gym's.

Is the soaping water really the only solution, is there anything else you can recommend? OR, do you think a new product similar to court grip will come out--but without the adverse effects of wearing away the sole?

  • @ASmoove05 - Dry mop the floor, if you have time wet mop it afterwards. Just try to get rid of as much debris and dust as possible. The soap and water will have the same effect where it will work temporarily but it wont damage anything in the process. When sweat drips on the court we usually rub it in w/ our shoes and we get that 'new traction' feel for a bit...

  • great review! i wished you reviewed this before i bought this piece of sh*t. i play alot of indoor basketball in all types of floors (dusty, new, and matte). yes, the product works the moment you use it however, in the course of a game, you'll find yourself wiping alot more before it was applied. dont waste your money on this. just simply use spit, sweat, or water to wipe your outsoles.

  • @xsoleprophetx - I agree, the funny thing is all the warning labels placed on the shoe says to keep away from your eyes and if you wipe with your hands you nearly always will touch your face either for an itch or to wipe sweat or something. Not too much 'what ifs' were considered with the product imo.

  • bad luck on your crazy 8's :\, thanks for the review though!

  • @FreeWillehh - It happens, no biggie.

  • I have found that wearing a pair of shoes with poor grip while playing outside will improve the grip for when I play inside.

  • @BRAZEN08 - Never tried that before... makes sense though, roughs up the rubber a bit providing you with some additional texture. Prob depends on the type of traction though.

  • STILL one of the best on youtube. Thanks again buddy

  • @ginoizzle - Thanks bro, appreciate it!
