@RageDimension its the same for samsung but Lite-on and Hitachi drives will need diffrent mothods also your using old FW LT/LT+ is out for all drives now mate grab it on Xbins!

WOOP i just flashed my xbox. Only complaint, when I get bored I just close try open try constantly by pressing A. But with the flashed drive after you do it a few times it starts to go slow :( other then that it works fine

you could poss fix that by opening the tray and looking in side you will see and black rubber band use twezers to get it out and drop it in boiling hot water leave it for about 1-2 mins then take it out and put it back then try again!

You need to check what is the sata chipset on your motherboard. But the dell inspiron 530 seems like a good up to date computer so it should work.
