I honestly think the Smack ppl tell the producers to act hella stupid ignorant. U watch any of them and the ppl are stupid loud and obnoxious. Then in anyother interview they're like normal ppl. Thanks Smack for propitiating stereotypes. But at least I like the beat haha
Damn, it's been 5 yrs already..I remember thinking that this was one of the tightest beata I've ever hear back in 2006. Back when I first started searching for professional producer production tips.
i made the exact beat in 20 minutes chopping the sample was easy everything was easy only hard part was finding the intruder song in hd i got the beat if ya need it let me no brownpride88@gmail.com
Im a real producer and been around real producers all my life from a young buck till now Nuz. aint no way that was easy just like that it takes time, but yo your out there doing bigger thing then me. shit ight Nuz.
Quit lying dude! this was pre-made.. Be honest!! an the track is aight.. you should choose a different arrangement any way instead of relying on the sample to sound good.. Now the arrangement you put together does sound like it took u 5-10 min to make. If you gettin paid thousands to make stuff like that. Now i know i can make it in the producing game.
Real talk, anybody that makes beats would know that yeah, he had the sounds ready, But searching for the sound aint what he said, the nigga kiiled a track in 10 minutes, that shit was hot, he aint bound to record 20 minutes of looking for sounds, thats how its done,
@mrbiggbeats - thats not what people are referring to. most of the beat was already done is what they mean, obviously looking for sounds would be excluded from the process.he said what he was going to do but still, adding drums/ bass to a sample that is already sequenced is not making a beat in 15 minutes. im not hating they're dope but rsonist couldnt be any less humble in this video with that nonsense lol. nice beat regardless. on another subject, god damn that dude looks stoned.
Fire ass beat! I think this video would have been better without the bragging. You can even hear pre-programmed drum rolls. It should have been a glimpse into the CREATION of a beat! I aint a hater though. Shit came out nice!
shit alright i aint hating but he had the samples already organized and just added some drums and some bass and plus the beats aint arranged or anything production takes time he just showing off on smack!!
yeah man, of coz you can create two sequences in 20 minutes (may 30 seconds would be enough by playing right). But I didn't know that somebody would buy some 2-pattern-arrangement for 20 or 30 thousand bucks! But heatmakerz got skills, so somebody should spend a million cash to make this guy take his time! ^^ peace
It doesn't take 10 minutes to create a beat. He had this beat done ahead of time. Not to hate but on some real shit, samples or not, beats take longer than 10 minutes. shit it takes 10 minutes just to chop "some" of your samples.
@PadroPadro22 You're right. It takes Scott Storch longer than that and he's a real producer. get on the synthesizer, heat makerz. I still like "Killa Cam".
@PadroPadro22 - Great point. Samples themselves take about 10-hour to chop. But people prolly would've switched the video if he had've sat there and chopped it. lol. After you chop it though, the beats can be anywhere from 10-2 hours to create. Especially the heatmaker'z. They aiiiight but they don't add all the flare and extra shit that Kanye or Just Blaze put in their beats. So 10 min. sounds about right for these dudes. lol
I think it's important for producers/beatmakers should mix up their productions... It's cool to sample and flip other shit from time to time with actually learning to play piano chords and arrangements and coming up with fresh original beats... Check my channel and listen to my JAY Z-CANT LEAVE RAP ALONE Beat... It's a combination of sampling and original arrangements...
No they don't. Usually, (not always) it is up to the recording artists label to clear the sample. You can sell a sampled beat but get paid only for your "time" and not the actual song. The producer usually gets no publishing if the sample isnt cleared. But its wise to clear all samples if you can.
Yeah, I'm not hatin, but it seems like more could have been done. It was hot, but I wish they woulda taken the voices out some during the 1st sequence.
agreed. i know he was probably just "showing some on the fly shit" or whatever... but if he claims he can really get on some real shit he shoulda added some phrases and chopped some similar notes instead of leaving the vocal samples bleed thru. whatever though, not hatin on the beat and honestly im not familiar with any Heatmakerz stuff anyway...just sayin
'The Intruders - Friends No More' from their 'Cowboys To Girls' Album. He basically took the verse and bridge from the song and pitch shifted them up to make each sequence. Not necessarily the most creative way to make a beat. So of course this beat took 5 minutes. Heatmakerz have done more complex cutting/chopping of samples, so this isn't really a good example of their beatmaking expertise.
I dont get this mentality with producers thinkin its a fuckin RACE with makin beats. Taking a loop and throwing some drums over it SHOULDN'T take anymore than 20 minutes. Because anyone can do that shit.
ya'll wanna see how shit is supposed to be done on an MPC
im just wandering. Just Blaze, Stoupe, Dj Premier, Pete Rock, dr. dre, and even RZA. Do they play any instruments besides sampling boards and turntables. Can they play pianos or guitars, or do they get someone else to do it. Because i kno the difference between a producer and a beatmaker. And most of da beatmakers i know only use samples and synthetic drums. Are any other live instruments done by them, or do they just direct the music, and slap buttons. Im stil tryin to find out if its 100% them
Pete rock can play a bit of bass...Just Blaze is learning to play keys i think but other than that they just sample good joints and know things like what sounds fit and what sounds need to be added or whatever.
i love the way how every producer that does these videos makes out like to knock these beats out so quick - its bringing all the elements together that takes the time - finding the right samples, cutting drum loops - loading the banks and laying the shit out - the whole process aint 20 mins - however heat makers got that crack but they shouldn't disregard the process that builds up to laying a sequence - any one can make a loop if the banks are loaded for them
man heatmakerz are dope...people always gonna hate on another person or other people doin it big..samples or no samples....i dont see none of these youtube haiters doin nothin in the industry...
You really dont need an MPC to make sample based records as good as this... Just hone your skills of chopping and you can bang harder records than this one.Its easy for them to say they bang tracks out in 15 min cuz they do it day. You know why I like the Heatmakerz, because they always use the recycle the same stuff, I can't say they raw, I just like recognizing their beats, freak sampling. One day Rsonist or Thrilla might eventually get tired of that.
damn i use reason it take about a hour to whip up a beat.but i'm bout to get my cake ^ & fuck wit dat mpc cause it's crack.heatMakers is Nasty.100 & i like dat track by fred money-i understand i didn't know you'll made dat beat.that shit was fire!!!!

Are you serious? all you got to do is chop 3 different parts. Then stretch them to 8 bar loops on the time knob. Use the FPC and do a 16 bar drum loop. Easy as hell to do if u got the original song to chop rom. which is called friends no more.

and heatmakers will get their rightful place.. they sample so uniquely and it sounds so good.. they can make a beat.. that evne if the song isn't banging.. it still have replay value
well if u wanna talk creative dame grease is better than jus blaze listen to him he was in hiphop longer than him n listen to the beats he makes its beautiful
this is hot shit... sounds like something juelz can spit fire to.. i wish i knew how to fuck with protools and all that other shit.. only tool i know how to fuck with is my 9 and my dick of course
dudes saying it aitn much, it takes creativity to string together a sick drum sequence to go with that, and chopping up the sample so u get it perfect so it loops together perfectly...its not that easy, ur just seeing the easy part. n to leediddy, its not the equipment that makes ur shit hott, its how creative u are with ur shit..
