  • he is great!!

  • how is this possible? so good!

  • that is the third sexiest thing i have ever seen

  • @MonacoRocha: remember; it's not the bodhran that makes you sound good, it's the player.

Eamon not only plays Hedwitschak drums, he also has two Metloef drums and drums by Ralf Siepmann.

  • Relax practice and use your wrist! Relaxing while playing makes you play a lot faster rOk3r101

  • After about 2 minutes of constant playing my tipper arm is on fire. This man is a champion for playing through that kind of pain. I salute you Mr. Murray!

  • Just saw this band live =D

He also did a Bodrhán solo - my mind has been blown

  • whoo hoo

  • A dia tá sé iontac!!!!

  • does anyone know the make of that bodhran? And where can I get one? This guy is GREAT !!!

  • @MonacoRocha Eamon plays bodhrans by Christian Hedwitschak, out of Bavaria. Easy enough to find online. Pricy, but worth every penny.

And then I got them to sign my poster! And I got my picture taken with them!

(Case yall read this I was the one in the obnoxiously pink dress...we were in Farmington...and yall talked about how hung over you were...)

    And they're awesome!

    And they have beautiful accents!

Irish accents always make me melt...*daydreamy sigh*

    P.x

  • {:-) truley admire your solo's.

  • i havent seen anyone play the bodhran like that before fukin deadly

  • Top end style so ridiculously quick !! I try and try and try, but only with both the top and bottom end of the stick can i come close to this speed...and then i'm only talking about speed, let alone a nice continuous rythm and or melody...o well, i'll keep practicing for ten more years or so ... :-)

  • @martijn573 Don't stop trying! I did a few classes with Eamon at the Craiceann school, and again in Kansas City. He's a really nice fella, and a great percussionist. As to top end and speed -- I don't think speed is all that important. What's important is being able to add something to the music. If what you're doing isn't adding anything, then don't play -- no shame! . Eventually, you will find what works best for you -- remember, you're the heartbeat -- keep the pulse alive.

  • @martijn573 what do you mean top end style? like one end triplets?

  • @martijn573 hit the top with the stick and hit the back with your right hand as a cheat :D

  • phwoarrrr...nice one!
