I just used the Nuvi 200 and hate it. it just stayed on the screen saver screen. NEVER buy this unit!

yes, its $39.95 a month and taxes not included. If u want to travel out of state then its $149.95. And for every mile u drive its an additional $2 or take the f*ckin bus.

real time traffic is a no. but the actual directions work with or with out signal.all the maps are built in

If is does not offer text to speech then I would suggest you just get the tom tom!  it's cheaper and both will get you there with no problem... However complex Highway have presented a problem which I recommend getting a Top of the line with reality view and text to speech.... Just a little FYI!
