  • Gretsch have a video that explains intonation better, but doesn't go over how to position the bridge in the first place. So I'd say watch this video first then search for 'Gretsch Guitars - Tech Tips - Intonating Your Bar Bridge Equipped Gretsch' for the rest. Sorted.

  • This bridge placement measurement method doesn't work for my Gretsch. Does anyone know a reliable technique, similar to this, that would work for a G5122DC?

  • @jphennes it should though... This roughly works with my G5122 ... but the thing this video doesn't gover is checking intonation through 12th fret harmonics and playing around with the flotting bridge angle and tune-o-matic saddles... and the usage of tuner...
