  • I think 2005 130R is the best

  • Big Call. Anyway This is just a G-Up to all the senna fans.

  • I have absolute respect for Nigel, but this was just being lucky - like Irvine's unlapping against Senna at Suzuka. I have seen many better and more deserved overtakes by Mansell. My way, there would be no laapping in F1. They'd simply have to leave the race after being close to be lapped. In no sport should the worst affect the results of the best like this!!! Also, forcing lapped cars out of the race would increase the pressure on them to stay in the same lap as the race leader. GOOD!

  • So he used a slow car to overtake? is that the best overtake ever?,, I've seen better overtakes in this F1 2011 year.. webber vs alonso eau rouge

  • driving round the outside of someone on a straight is only a good pass in 2011...

  • Nope - more luck than skill

  • The best pass ever is between Mansell v Piquet silverstone 1987 or Mansell v Senna & Berger first 2 corners at Estoril 1991.

    !

  • Hakkinen, Belgium 2000 on Schumacher. That's my personal favourite =)

  • @RoLLWithITOasis1 that was a great pass I remember that on

  • pass is good and on a circuit not known for overtaking

though not a best ever - Johansson locked Senna who was lapping him

  • Hey why there where no pit stops??

  • @lepperysusamigos No refuelling & the tyres could last long :)

  • @lukianzio So that was in every race because of the tyres or just this track because with one set of tyres you could finish the whole race in this circuit??

  • @lepperysusamigos Yeah, it depends on the tyre wear on a particular track, but very few pitstops were made until refuelling was introduced in 1994 :)

  • Mansell is so underrated, a driver of stunning guts and skill. Semma's just a dead cheat. Good riddance to the pompous twat.

  • @ysgol3

Your'e so disrespectful, just because you clearly like Mansell best doesn't mean you have too put down other drivers, go sort out your manners. Dick.

  • @NewsGlobalToday Hi there !! I stand by every word about Senna, (my typo ! ) except to amend slightly by saying he's a VERY dead twat, he wouldn't fill an ashtray now !!! How did you know my name's Dick ?

  • @ysgol3 It's called an insult, weener. hahahaha

  • @NewsGlobalToday I know !! I was just taking the piss out of you and you diidn''t realise it !!!! hahahahaHA !!

  • @ysgol3 ok can you tell me exactly where you were taking the "piss" out of me then

  • like a watered down version of the mika on schuey. sry mate not best ever

  • It looks like a good pass if you're high

  • Personally I think that Mansells best overtake was when he took Berger around the outside of the Peraltada at Mexico

  • @TheKartist Berger had to let him go though or it was a major accident. So it was classic Mansell - "who's got the biggest balls". Me! So many amazing passes by Nige to choose from. What about the dummy on Piquet Britain '87? What an over-zealous crowd pleaser! :) Or the trebble-draft to box Berger in at Portugal '89? Great intelligence! Or the 2 lap draft on Tracy, the backmarker pass on Rosberg usng WDC Alan Jones as a tool, the outside pass on Patrese... ? etc. etc.!

  • @ChannelSenna As you say, so many to choose from. My favourite Mansell pass is not technically the best, but it was spectacular. Mansell v Senna, Catalunya 1991. That long shot down the pit straight will live with me forever.

  • @TimBrewin - totally agree with you on that .. That was the best overtake not only because it was an amazing pass move... but also it took place over the best car in 91 (Mclaren 1991) which was being driving by the the top 5 best driver in F1 history (Ayrton Senna)..... That was a really special moment...

  • @TheKartist I absolutely agree with that, Mansell's pass round the outside of Berger in Mexico in that high speed corner was his best ever.

I was lucky enough to watch that race and it was a memorable moment.

This pass here is just a question of being at exactly the right spot and having good reflexes.

Mansell was never the complete package and he suffered from brainfade pretty often but his shortcomings are what made him such an exciting driver as well.

The exact opposite of Prost or Piquet.

  • Well said my friend, could'nt have said it better myself mayhemfunkerster, people argue over things that are not important, each driver has his talents, I consider it a joy to have witnessed truly golden years of very competitive F1, probably the last 40 or so years

  • Senna is number 1 and no one can debate that.. i was a fan of Mansell and his aggression but my dad would always be like yeh but Mansell can only drive the car hard where as Senna is smart and like Lauda .. i would say Mansell is like a bull but Senna is like th bull fighter.. smarter and in control

  • Good but by no means the best. Look at Hakkinen on M. Schumacher at Spa 2000.

  • Everybody knows that the best pass of Mansell was to Berger in the Mexican Grand Prix.

  • Not sure it was the best pass ever, but it is certainly the most outrageous. I distinctly remember that it was a big talking point at work the next day and for some time afterwards, mainly because it was Nigel Mansell and British F1 fans were all rooting for him, even if he was driving one of those boring Italian cars rather than a Williams or a McLaren..!

  • This is a crap pass. Senna apparently missed a gear here too.

  • @gp4nut

Well, if he did it was still HIS mistake.

  • @gp4nut When you have to use "apparently", it's not true, apparently! ;)

  • ive seen better passes watching stupid nascar lol

  • Mansell as good as Senna and Prost but with a bad luck never give up....!!!

  • mansell finished his career as statstically the 3rd highest number of grand prix wins... his whole career his was against prost and senna...that speaks volumes about his talent

  • @l0dgey Close - Mansell is fourth, behind Schumacher, Prost and Senna.

  • @astonbrock And why is Mansell 4th? Because he only won 1 world championship? He would have been 4 time world champion if not for bad luck beyond his control. 86 Adelaide, Only needed to finish 3rd to clinch title , tyre blow out main striaght. 87 Japan only needed points finishes to win title, rear right brake failure crashes breaks vertabrae base of spine cant race last 2 races. 91 Title closed gap to Senna mid season then was plagued by unreliabilty from the Williams. Then 92, Reigns supreme.

  • @Rommeljnr No one needs to justify Mansell's greatness because he won "only" one title. Part of judging greatness is by looking at the competition he faced. Mansell was at or near the top of the sport for ten years when he competed against three other all-time greats, plus he raced Lauda at the beginning and Schumacher at the end. Winning "just" one championship against those men is plenty enough to affirm his greatness.

  • @Rommeljnr You could say that about many drivers!! Senna almost won a championship at lotus, but didn't due to engine failure. Jim clark lost 2 championships due to engines failing in the last race of the season. Would kimi of won when his mclaren was awesomely fast but kept popping engines? how's about mika having a season blighted by rear wings coming off twice and a few blown tires?! I'm not a mansell hater, but, in 92, adrian newey won the championships, wouldn't of mattered who was driving!

  • @russ13b Not exactly true , Patrese in the same car couldnt match Mansells pace as was still out paced by Senna at some tracks so talent still has alot to do with it. Then if you want to apply your logic to why Mansell won the 92 title ( Adrian Newey) may as well apply to every driver who has ever had the benefit of a dominant/superior car .. Prost's and Senna's title with McLaren Honda ... or that german clown with ferrari.

  • @Rommeljnr patrese was generally slower, but they did usually just drive into the distance!! with a slower team mate, wouldn't he of won it instead? the senna/prost thing is true, but at the same time they had the same car as each other. Some championships are blatantly the car, which is what irritates me about 92, nigel did deserve to win one at some point, but i'd of preferred it to of been more driver orientated!! and, am i the only one who is convinced those ferraris were far from legal??

  • @Rommeljnr Nigel was 12 points behind Piquet when he had that accident in Japan. If I calculated correctly, Nigel would've needed at least either two wins or a win and a second without Piquet winning for Nigel to take the title in '87. 1991 he lost because of the unreliability of the Williams at the beginning of the year, the last lap retirement at Canada, blowing up at Spa and the pit stop problem at Portugal.

  • @Kyle1851 Yes and if you knew anything about how the points system worked back then you would know that you could only keep the points from your best 11 finishes out of 16 races. Piquet had already scored points in 11 races and Mansell hadnt, so the deficit your trying to imply was uncatchable .... ACTUALLY WAS.

  • @Rommeljnr I'm not trying to imply that it was impossible for Nigel to catch Piquet, since Nigel had already won 6 times and Piquet twice inherited wins in the final 10 laps due to others having mechanical failures. If Nigel won both Japan and Australia in 1987 and Piquet finished 2nd in both, Nigel would've had 79 points and Nelson 75. Similar to Alain Prost in '88, Piquet would've had scored more points but lost to a driver who won more, as in the previous example it would have been 8-3 Nigel.

  • They called Nigel lion heart for a reason, they were all great drivers in a fantastic GP time, just enjoy it.

  • Why is everybody so over the moon with Senna and will always defend him no matter what? When somebody has an argument all the senna lovers whipe it away. And then they criticise Schumacher for the same thing that their Senna always did. Don't get me wrong i'm not a Senna hater, I just put some question marks around some of his actions like I'll always do with any racing driver.

  • mansell's best pass ever was on nelson piquet in the wet but drying track in the british grand prix, can't remember what year. For the record, nigel mansell said that given the same car and conditions and no technical troubles he could beat Ayrton senna anytime anywhere. Back in those days nobody doubted it, but we've had years of rose coloured specs with senna. he wasn't as good as they say. Bit wet really. Like watching Mr Bean on red bull

  • @markmywords312 1987, you ignorant prick. Mansell was not a modest person, hence his pathetic quote about the legendary Senna.

Senna "not as good as they say". "A bit wet like Mr Bean"? I hope enough people give your bullshit post enough thumbs down to be deleted. Go and watch any footage of Senna driving - the man was a genius behind the wheel, his car often on the limit of adhesion.

  • @back2frinky Pathetic quote?? Mansell DID beat Senna many times when both cars were equal and when Mansells car was barely driveable. There's not a SINGLE instance of Senna beating Mansell with inferior equipment but plenty of Mansell beating Senna with shit kit. Look at the facts. You're the only ignorant prick here. Also FACT: Ayrton Sennas record number of pole positions? Transition year between turbo and normally aspirated and Senna surew as hell wasn't in a normally asp. car. He's a joke

  • @back2frinky

haha . neither were the best .

but i like mansell better for sure . not as cocky

was not as dirty and tried to earn the win not block the shit out of people like whoa .

but prost was better than both . calculated and not outspoken .

but fast as hell without looking like it .

he outscored senna both years that they were in the same car

prost had a better finishing place average . and more championships

senna was good but not GOD ... he was overrated

  • @mushrume i love you sir/madam, i cannot believe sum1 has actually seen the truth. Senna was a cheating brazillian arse bandit...mansell rules!!!

  • @mushrume Senna-41 wins. mansell-31 wins. Senna -10 years, mansell-14 years. Senna drove for losing teams for 5 of his 10 years. Prost?? He would not drive on the same team as Senna. Can you say, "crybaby"? Prost only won in good cars. Prost wanted the race stopped if it rained. Senna won in every car.(on crap tires supplied by pirelli) You should get your shit straight before you post total shit. Wins and points don't tell much about talent.

  • @freewill51 DAMN RIGHT!!!!! Senna and Mansell were the true greats of that era. prost was over rated and a master of pitlane politics. Nothing more.

  • @mushrume To add to that, Lotus wanted to fire mansell for Senna, but guess what? Lotus was sponsored by John Player Special (a company in England that sales in England) and mansell was from England. Funny, the owners that see the drivers drive everyday, wanted Senna over mansell. But to you he is overrated! Check the facts.

  • Mansell did an amazing pass!!awesome!!!

  • WHO OWNS THIS GRAND PRIX?

  • What the hell is so special about this pass??

  • @FH1987 yeah im joining to this question

  • my vote goes to Hakkinen & Schumacher at Spa in 2000. On the Kemmel straight.

  • that '89 Ferrari was GORGEOUS

  • Not even in your dreams buddy.. this doesn't make even on the top 1000!!

  • IN HUNGARORING!!!, wow my god,it`s incredible

  • Lmao, this.. Best pass ever?! Haha! Nice try getting views with that title.

Senna drifting around Piquet in 86 gets my best pass vote & Villenueves battle with Arnoux in 79 gets my vote for greatest.. well moment haha!

  • @DC9990 Dont you mean piquet drifting around Senna. Senna was in the lotus.

  • @ThePanda971 Yeah my bad I dont know why I put senna drifting piquet.

  • @DC9990 in 86 piquet drifting around senna...

  • Hm I think Mika Hakkinnen had seen this pass before the Belgian GP in 2000, but Schumacher hadn't :D

  • Senna is thinking: i need a point now. Mansell: but i dont care

  • lol at this being "the best pass ever"

  • his 86 pass on senna is classic this is mediocre

  • I think that Mansell's pass on Berger at Mexico in 1990 is better than this one.

  • best pass ever happened in the moto gp, search "catalunya rossi lorenzo" on youtube if u find a video which shows the last 2 minutes of that race u will see that the pass in that race is even better

  • @pind123321 Jejejeje i was remembering this...

  • I think Mansell made a very opportunistic pass, one of his best, IMO. This manouver was not for the cautious driver, since this manouver could have turned into a crash if Senna steered more to the right, perhaps not believing Mansell was so close to him. It took Mansell's reputed bravery, recklelessness (lol) and cunning drive to pass.

  • What a bunch of fucking idiots, everybody knows you need to squeeze your trigger hard to go fast, not brake, SLOT CAR RACING RULZ

  • did this on kartracing at the weekend :)

but i think mansell is still better than me^^

  • had prost managed somehow to miraculously avoid the missileing mclaren and stay on the track, senna could have won the championship and all senna fans would carry on about what an amazing overtake it was. Fact is it was a horrible attempt and it ended the way it should have.

  • the 89 suzuka incident has been argued to death. neither camp conceding to the other. my opinion, Senna tried a terrible terrible overtake that prost had no obligation to let the kamikaze senna through and hence an accident was guaranteed. Senna carries more of the fault. Yes prost drove into him, but so he should have, you should never concede a place to a stupid overtake just to avoid an accident when championships are at stake.

  • I don't understand how you're thinking playtechy because senna was trying to outbrake prost from way too far behind, he even had to use the engine to try to slow it down. Prost was in front and had the racing line. It would have been another matter if they were side by side but they weren't so it was sennas fault. Prost bad? Prost has one of the best drivingstyles in the world and he used it in a perfect way.

  • m3e92 - you make it sound like this manouvre was easy. I remember seeing this live and thinking 'wonderful move'. Senna reacted too slowly and Mansell pre-judged this move, earlier than Senna. Mansells greatest drive from 12th on the grid. Made everyone including Senna look very slow.

  • yea mansell tough guy!!but still senna is the master:-)

  • he is not alowed to pass car who is already passing...aks any DrivingSchool instructor

    hahahahahaha

  • geat mansell!fantastic driver

  • Also, not even close to the best pass ever, Senna was slowed by Johannson going through the corner and Mansell made a very easy and fairly boring pass along the straight.

  • You are sooooo wrong! This is one of the greatest passes because if u watch other videos of this pass, u will see that Mansell planned this 2 corners before it happened and he executed it perfectly.

  • I think the main thing about this pass is that it makes Senna look a bit average. And Ayrton had the superior car! Remarkable stuff - Mansell at his best.

  • @m3e92 are you fuckn serious? id call it opportunistic!

  • @m3e92 i agree, he only got past because senna lifted, but i think that was far from boring. Slinging the car out towards the grass like that, going 3 abreast, then cutting back across, all so fast, that showed great opportunistic driving and sheer balls! each to his own. I'll admit, im a bit bias as i think mansell is THE MAN! Best british sportsman to date IMO. unfortunately britain has deteriorated to the likes off..... wayne rooney.

  • @m3e92 You gotta respect the quick decision he made and his reactions tho

  • @m3e92 but it looks soooo great :)

no seriously... its realy a good one because he had to make his decision very quick to pass both of them in a line and i assume you can search drivers that have the balls to do it instead of abort the whole maneuver...

also i am realy bored by people, driving an little bmw or vw and think they can rate thinks, happening in races with 600+bhp cars... lets say it like it is... no one of us has the ability to drive this car just ONE round ;)

  • @m3e92 I agree but Mansell had balls of steel to stay on the throttle at this moment.

  • @m3e92 Mansell made a very EASY pass? If he wasn't paying attention he'd have been straight into the back of Senna, use your brain.

  • @PS3GameProductions If he wasn't paying attention he wouldn't be in F1

  • @PS3GameProductions What would Mansell be doing that he wouldn't be paying attention? All he did on that pass was pull over and drive past two cars going much slower than normal. He wasn't so close as to make it a panic manuever. If anything, Senna made the mistake of following a slower car too closely through the corner and getting balked. Button made the exact same pass on Alonso in Canada last year and it happens in sports car racing all the time.

  • @m3e92 you obviously never watched this race live!

  • @m3e92 What makes this a great pass is the lightening fast relexes and quick thinking of Mansell. Try and imagine the speed those 3 are going at. Mansell had the reaction to pull out, make the pass and get away from Senna in a split second. However, I think his pass on Bergher in Mexico was better

  • @m3e92 lol he pulled over 2 full car lengths at that speed and still got past... you really have no idea... not saying its the best but clearly you have no clue and u got 45 fkn thumbs up =\

  • I think its a shame theres always such bickering about this. Talent will out. The mere fact that Prost, Senna and Mansell ended up fighting each other so often proves their talent. As for Mansell, there is ample proof of his ability out there. Whether he was as smart as Prost or as talented as Senna isn't important. He was there, competitive, able to beat them often and won a hell of a lot of Grands Prix.

  • That is true.

Mansell was great, but my hero will always be Senna, and I have great admiration for Prost.

Prost was an intellegent racer, knew when to push.

Senna was just pure talent, especially in the rain.

And Mansell never gave up, and in a decent car, sometimes he was near impossible to beat.

  • @mayhemfunkster Exactly! Mansell could have easily been a 3 time world champ if not worst ever luck in the world in last races in 86 and 87. In 91 his car also stopped on the last lap when he was leading comfortably. I mean all these championships could go either way and those in 86 and 87 should have gone Nigel's way but they did not. Not a Mansell fan, just trying to be honest

  • @mayhemfunkster so so true mate u hit the nail on the head mansell senna prost all legends all true greats of f1 and always fighting it out bettewen eachother for victory i think that tells its own story

  • @mayhemfunkster Yea nice one. I think Nigel was maybe the most gritty driver of those three. Prost had a good, by the book, talent, he was so smart too. Senna was just a natural also very smart and Mansell had incredible determination. I agree, I wouldn't say he wasn't with the likes of prost and senna because there is plenty of evidence to state otherwise.

  • dont start giveing me crap about prost i sad he was good the problem being he was also the most boreing and political and lucky driver that ever sat in an f1 car sory hate but try and open your eyes i dont ever rember prost doing anything even romotley exciteing in a car apart from poreing people to death or wating for the guy in front to brake down so he could win there so stop bitching and try looking you will then see that the people you clame he is better then are much better driver

  • I respect Mansell... but Senna is considered the greatest driver....

    ;)

    sorry my english!

  • Brilliantly put ashsue99. Put Prost into it now and he'd be the wildman of F1 rofl.

  • mansell was a god and a lion in a car lol no one was better some were as good in diffrent ways but this man was the best a real 1950,s style hero god we miss him this new bunch are like massproduced media toys bring back the old time drivers even prost looks good now lol

  • Prost doesn't look good: He IS GOOD! Do you understand? He got tired of kicking asses along his whole career, loosing and winning against drivers like Senna, Mansell, Piquet, Jones, Andretti, Hill, Rosberg, Schumacher, etc. Wake up, and study a little bit more about F1, instead of posting futile fanboy quotes, study, learn, and come back.....

  • Yup there's Senna the best driver ever in the best car of the day getting overtaken by slow Mansell in a rubbish car. roflmao.

  • not the best pass ever, but one of the best, for sure!

  • and Senna respected him for that. The two had more mutual respect for each other

  • I agree Mexico was better, around the outside at 180 mph without banking !!!

My fav is Senna on Prost 1st corner Japanese GP.. the year after Prost took him out at the same track ... LOL

If the FIA want more passing in F1 they need to get more blunt instuments like Mansell and Keke Rosberg back into the cars instead of the miniature jockeys in there these days. Massa should be in the Circus.

  • tsport100: senna took out prost both 1989 AND 1990!

  • Prost took Senna out in 1989. Senna went on to win the race and championship but was later disqualified. In 1990 Senna was on pole, which at the last second was moved to the dirty side of the track. Senna said if they didn't move it back and if Prost was alongside him going into turn 1 he wouldn't try to make the corner.

  • m3e92: what? in 1989, Senna was waaaaay too far behind Prost going into the chicane to do the move he did without taking out Prost!!

  • Prost took Senna out in 1989. Senna warned before the race in 1990 that he will be the 1st through turn one, or he wont make it around the corner.

Why? Because Ballistre put Senna on the dirty side of the track AFTER qualifying had finished and he found Senna had pole. (Even after the marshalls said pole will be on the left, Ballistre put it on the Right when he saw Senna had pole).

  • That is not the correct story. Pole side was the dirty side. Senna asked if they could switch sides because dirty side is no pole, pole must be on the better side. Marshalls said ok let's do it like that and then Ballestre said no.

  • But Ballistre was quiet until after Qualifying, THEN he changes the side of pole.

If Prost had Pole - I beleive that Pole would have have been on the better side.

(Ballistre, being French did seem to aid Prost just that little bit more).

  • Playtechy: I just wanna know how Prost took Senna out in 1989? haha you're so wrong

  • Senna went for the overtake at the chicanes. Prost waited until Senna was alongside (Therefore Senna had right of way) then smashed into the side of him.

The best indication of how bad Prost drove was; later on Senna overtook a car for First place at that exact corner in the exact manner as before; only the driver in front didn't smash him out.

  • whats that gotta do with being blocked :S some weird people on youtube ..

  • senna should have seen the traffic situation coming and made allowances regardless of the traffic. mansell did get the best of him here.

  • yu heard the commmentry at the end .. senna got blocked

  • No, the best pass of Mansell was to Gerhard Berger in Mexico's Grand Prix in 1990.

  • i didn't think of it, Mansell did (since he's the one who did it). It's definitely true. I read it on the internet.

  • And if I remember correctly, another problem with that Ferrari was that '89 was the year Ferrari was experimenting with semi-automatic gearboxes which caused a lot of problems for both Mansell and Berger.

  • Best pass ever? Nonsens...Mansells best 2 passes were Silverstone 1987 on Piquet and Mexico 1990 on Berger!

  • kkkkkkkkkkkkkk Best pass ever!!!!!!!!!kkkkkkkkkk

  • Senna got OWNED! At the end Mansell finished 26 seconds ahead of Senna.

  • Thanks for pointing that out - Just shows that even in 89 its arguable that Ferrari was the better car. Yet Senna won 6 races and led 5 others retiring with mechanical failure. What a genius!

  • Ferrari? Best car in 1989? Nope, Senna was outclassed by Mansell, and you know it.

  • What? 1 win to Nige and 6 to Senna? Otclassed?

    "get yer 'and orf it!"

  • I'm talking about the hungarian gp, not the entire season. In this race Senna was outdriven by Nigel Mansell.

  • o get er hand orf it - Mansell caught Senna baulked behing a backmarker - no big deal. You gotta race go-karts to know this is nothing - everyday manoevre in Karts when the guy in front is blocked. Who cares - its got nothing to do with driving skill

  • True but that doesn't explain the fact the Mansell finished almost half a minute in the end, Mansell destroyed Senna and you know it!

  • Clearly the Ferrari was much better.

But yeah MAnsell on his day was f'ing good

  • he was outclassed in like 2 races... senna only missed out on the world champioship due to reliability... senna outclassed all...

mansell is great, senna is the greatest...

senna had 13 pole positions that season in 89 out of 16... the only season that mansell dominated was 92. senna dominated 88, 89, 90, 91... had 5 wins in a shit car in 93... you cannot compare the 2... mansell had balls, senna was the master of f1.

  • hakkinen 2000

    over the dick bastard

  • mansell's best overtake was against gehard berger in mexico 1990

  • i agree, around the outside on the last corner of the last lap and he just drove away, great move!

  • Yep!

  • Yep - that was awesome - a genuione pass. This Hungary thing is nothing - Senna got balked by the backmarker - simple as that.

  • omg... u guys realize senna had to stop accelarating bkoz of the slower guy in front.

like the commentator says, mansell was lucky enough to be in the right place.

  • hungary. 86. piquet.

  • Mansell passing Berger in Mexico is my vote, head first around the outside at 190mph plus

  • Piquet vs Senna in1986 was better!

  • The best pass manouver ever. Nigel still being the Lion but he's also The KING overtaking. No one could do the same.

  • great pass all of senna sgreatness couldn't stop mansell their

  • THIS WAS the F1.

    the real F1.

  • please clear your small brain, guys like prost, mansell, shumacher are alive to talk it, senna felt to much presure, he faced his limit. Please think about it in advance to write something... OK?

  • Mansell to good for senna

  • senna is the best ever

  • OK guys. Put Mansell, Senna, prost, Piquet and Schumi in identical cars and get them to race each other 10 times. WHO would win the most races?

  • prost

  • schumacher.

  • Not only is this not the best pass ever, it isn't even Mansell's best pass ever. See Mexico 1990 - no backmarkers slowing up the lead car there.

  • I agree with you. That outside pass over Berger in "La Peraltada" curve was really amazing.

  • Who called him lucky? must be one of them idiotic senna fans, mansell was awesome, we all know mansell was the 'greatest'

  • Mansell was the best British GP driver for his shear guts and determination. A great move here, one that many F1 drivers know how to do, but dare not to attempt !

  • Niguel is a Leon, he has not five titles, but we was born to be a Champion, a human Champion in 2 categories, he was the best. Senna is dead.

  • You're SO RIGHT !!

    FOREVER MANSELL !!!

It's JUST THE BEST overtake EVER. And if you dislike that, shoot yourself lol :P because you're ill man.

  • great pilots..never heard about MS doing something like this...but Senna himself did some overtakes like this

  • Mansell was called iL lEONE , BECAUSE HE WAS ONE OF THE MOST AGRESSIVE DRIVERS OF ALL TIME , PURE JHEART RACING MAN !!!!

  • Totally agree,... I never saw senna did it like him
