As a cinematographer who used to build vacuum tube amplifiers in the last century, this video was a lot of eye candy. It also unveiled a few mysteries, like how the getter is fired when it's sealed inside the tube. Great content, and nicely portrayed!
That must be it. I saw your name mentioned there in a thread on DVInfo. Miight have been referencing your posts in DVXuser. That's probably where I've commented on your threads re: the EX1.
@morrisonAV Very possible. I was vocal about the bad audio on the Sony V1U. Am now a happy camper with Sony XDCam lineup and Atomos Samurai HD-SDI recorder.
@murdepierre Beautifully shot and edited, murdepierre. I'm in the early stages of shooting similar projects so your work is a great learning tool for me. Again, well done!
@guitarcapo Could you send me a link to a document and/or video explaining how most tubes are made? Genuinely interested in learning more about this subject. Thanks.
Nice impression of Chech Artwork. Hope they will continue producing these fantastic tubes for many years. The KR tubes match perfect with VSA speakers for play back music at a very high and realistic level.
I know the people who make these tubes. Wow, great video. See avshowrooms for videos on more how it's made. Like YG Acoustics speakers and Audio Note.

Hi Bass. Thanks for the feedback. Also wanted to say "Hi" as I've corresponded with you over on DVInfo.net, too.

@morrisonAV I've never posted on DVinfo, so perhaps you have me mixed up with someone else. Or perhaps you mean DVXuser?

99% of all tubes are not made this way. These were specialized audio application boutique tubes.

I know this for more than 15 years now.
