Don't worry peeps, the series is not canceled. The Def Jam series is on hiatus right now. EA said they have to find another developer for the series and the NBA Street series to. AKI (Syn Sophia currently) can probably do it, if they stop making DS and Wii games :/

This was truly a gem to both Def Jam and to all the gamers who played it. Too bad they had to mess it up with ICON and their new Karaoke game. Wish for another Def Jam fighting game way just as good but more insane than the two great achievements. Mine got shattered, but you bet your ass I got another copy. It's really a shame, because there is a tremendous amount of depth in this game that is unexplored. I'm not talking about metagame or tournament shit either, I'm just talking about the stuff that isn't in the manual or on the internet or ANYWHERE. Like that directional buttons can change grabs and basic attacks. Or the fact that Crow has (at least) 3 haymakers a clinch and a submission move.
