Get the smaller one...it's better overall and is better for mobility. With laptops, bigger isn't always better...you need to be able to easily take them with you.

The smaller screen! I had doubts over screen size when I got my Macbook (which has quite a small screen) but once you've got it, you don't even notice it. Its a lot better to have a faster comp.

Oh and you'll reach 500 easily! When I joined youtube, I only expected about 80 subs cause I couldn't see how I was interesting but i've got 600 in a matter of just under 3 months, its pretty overwhelming O.o Just keep making great vids and 'they will come' :p

I think I might wait and save up to get a Macbook as well (I miss my old PowerBook!). Not too sure about getting a smaller screen though. I'd be using it around the house most of the time, so it doesn't have to be all that portable.

Processor speed is overrated; RAM is more important.

Get the bigger screen unless weight and bulk matter (i.e., if you travel a lot).

If you like the bigger screen on the laptop you can easily add 512MB of ram for $22 or 1024MB of ram for $38 (I recomend no less than 1GB of ram if you run Windows Vista) Good luck with your new laptop.

Congrats on the 200! As far as the computer goes, the more memory the better. Windows Wista alone requires 500 megabytes of memory just to run it, so if you use programs and/or games that use alot of memory or have very detailed graphics, the larger memory is the way to go.

It comes with 1GB, but can be upgraded to 4GB. I won't be running Vista on it though, so that won't really be an issue.

Just as the other said you have too have at least 2gig of memory for vista. Don't get me wrong I am a total fan of huge screens. I have a 24" widescreen on my desktop that I am thinking of giving it to my father and getting a 30" so I can't live without the big screen. But Vista is a major RAM hog, it is just not worth it at 1 gig, 2 gig a must.
