If the card is destroyed or removed somehow, it still brings out the Fusion Monster in 2 SB Phases because the activation was never negated so the effect continues and it won't link to the Fusion Monster like Call of the Haunted, which is better. So a good strategy that I learned is to play FFusion then Giant Trunade so it's back in hand and then play again so I get 2 Fusions out. It's awesome.

I used a Fortuneman Deck (Fortune Ladies and Batteryman) and all of my moves were predicted except one during a duel (Used Interdimensional Matter Transporter on Light and used my Return to bring back Light and a AA and Inferno Reckless Summoned Light instead of AA to have one Earth and 3 Lights Cumpulsified the Lights to get 3 Waters, ran out of a Deck the next turn but my last card was Short Circuit and during my opponents turn Lightning Vortex was activated. Brought out my 3 AA's and won.
Whoever said Lighty won't miss the timing in the first part are wrong. They should learn how chains work and what missing the timing means.
The chain is:
Chain Link 1: MST
Chain Link 2: Compulsory
Resolve:
Chain Link 2: CED (Returns Lighty)
Chain Link 1: MST (Destroys CED)
Now that the whole chain has resolved, any Triggers will now form a new chain. However, since the last thing to occur was MST destroying CED and NOT Lighty being removed from the field, Lighty WILL Miss the Timing.
you should read what he said. He stated the CED will return Light then MST will destroy CED. However for Light's ability to activate she has to be activate right after CED..however since MST was right after CED she missed her timing.
in the manual in regards to chains. the last thing to activate in a chain go first then proceed up the line. so MST destroys the CED then CED's effect activates since its not negated. re read manual plz
the fortune lady light loose its timing because when the chain is resolving the next effect in be played is the typhon not FL Light..... ; ) ...if u were use the compulsory device without chaing it it would be correct timing ... :)

Wrong...Lighty misses timing because after CED resolves MST still attempts to resolve...thereby passing the opportunity for Lighty's effect to activate. Just because it doesn't actually resolve doesn't mean that you simply forget about it.
An optional trigger effect cannot resolve in the middle of a chain. Basic, elementary ruling at this point.
Lighty is optional. The chain is not finished when she reaches the hand b/c Chain Link 1, MST, hasn't resolved.
& no, another basic knowledge is MST does not fail b/c the target was chained; the card is still destroyed.
Been that way since the Magic Ruler booster, b/c cards never go to the grave in the midst of a chain (unless it was done so by an effect) until the chain fully resolves.
IDK if anyone else pointed it out to you...but the CED on the Lighty at the beginning was a misplay. The last thing in the chain was MST destroying CED...not CED removing Lighty from the field...should have activated CED during standby

nope. i think when its special summoned while you control another fortune lady, her effect activates.

Actually, when it's special summoned and you have Fortune Lady(s) on the field, you can draw 2. And since Johnny had Fortune Lady Dark on the field, he drew two.

It doesn't have to work with Fortune Lady Light. It can be used for any other Fortune Lady + Fortune's Future.

There was no misplay.
1) MST targets facedown spell/trap
2) Chains said spell/trap (CED) targeting fortune lady light
resolve chain in reverse order:
1) CED returns Fortune Lady Light to the hand
2) MST attempts to destroy CED but fails since it is gone.
Fortune Lady Light's effect activates summoning Fortune Lady Dark
Overall a plus one

Wrong...Lighty misses timing because after CED resolves MST still attempts to resolve...thereby passing the opportunity for Lighty's effect to activate. Just because it doesn't actually resolve doesn't mean that you simply forget about it.

An optional trigger effect cannot resolve in the middle of a chain. Basic, elementary ruling at this point.
Lighty is optional. The chain is not finished when she reaches the hand b/c Chain Link 1, MST, hasn't resolved.
& no, another basic knowledge is MST does not fail b/c the target was chained; the card is still destroyed.
Been that way since the Magic Ruler booster, b/c cards never go to the grave in the midst of a chain (unless it was done so by an effect) until the chain fully resolves.

IDK if anyone else pointed it out to you...but the CED on the Lighty at the beginning was a misplay. The last thing in the chain was MST destroying CED...not CED removing Lighty from the field...should have activated CED during standby

Chains resolve in reverse order...thus MST attempted to resolve after CED resolved and put Lighty back in hand.

Oh, Fortune Lady Light had to be the last thing on the chain for it's trigger effect to activate. It would of been a bit more courteous if someone actually said that ruling rather than explaining what happened. >_>;
