continued.....I kept some of the hail in my freezer until the following summer but it dehydrated. I had at least couple of hundred chunks in my yard, made indentations in the dirt, some of it nearly 5 inches diameter. Crazy stuff. With this heat, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get some bad storms in August 2011?!

We've had hail with thunderstorms here (North-Central NJ), but none of them were ever that size. I think the largest hail I can recall was hail about the size of a penny...most others considerably smaller than that. I can only imagine what that kind of hail would be like if it ever came here.

once when a storm happened it was only me and my sis in tha house.a big hail storm started with heavy of rain. and we started freaking out and it was so windy.wind speed was 60 keloesmetres. and there were huge black clouds even i thought it was 1 am!!. thunders and lightning were shaking the house and windows. and we were hit by hail in the size of a golf ball!!. thanks to god in kuwait th houses were built from rocks and other hard meterials ^_^

We had a hail storm hit here in Fitzgerald, Georgia around this time last yr, I think maybe in mid April 2009. Alot of house ruffs had to be repair. My 1997 honda civic took a beating some, but the hail was only marble size and smaller like. but alot fell, I mean it got ugly, and I was at home alone :( Twister also hit some of the town part.
