It's not hard to find them but there's also a problem registering them as well. You have to google the topic of them to really get all the details because there's no way I'll be able to explain it all. Alternatively you can wait 25 years after the vehicle was made and just have it imported from Japan. By then it'll be a classic car.

@kowailemon its not the tune that you have to change to make it acceptable to drive in america, its the bumpers the reinforcements windows ect it doesnt meet crash standards in us the bumpers are weak and there windows shatter stuff like that

the owner is actually a woman who bought the car for around 200k i belive she also painted it black and its the sickest car ive seen in person, she used to own a giant tuning shop in johnson city tn called motor mavericks then it changed to ride revolution , im not sure if she still has the car but they did when they built my dc2 before they closed down

@Nabiili If you plan on driving it on the U.S. roads then you have to De-tune it and then Legalize it.. Which Is Pricey, but if you plan on using it on the Tracks you won't have to de-tune it I believe. Correct me if im wrong people, just don't flame.

But like the other guy said its possible to get them but from what I've seen they are registered as kit cars because they've been imported from japan in pieces by a company called Motorex. That company got shut down years ago but you can still find Skylines and GTR's they imported.

Yep believe it or not it's because of emissions. And it depends, we have new codes that reduce smog and exhaust gasses such as restrictive headers and air intakes..Skylines don't have to pass an emissions test to be driven in Japan, so the japanese don't really care if it's eco friendly or not. It's a stupid law but thats the way it is.

You are right, it doesn't matter if it's right hand drive. However R-33 and 34 Skyline models are illegal in the US due to emissions. The only legal model is the GTR R-35 which doesn't matter if it's right hand or left and drive.
