Scientology is not a cult. It is not based off of Science fiction novels. The only reason it's called a "religion" is because it is mutually agreed that there is a higher power. Scientology is non-denominational. You can be a Catholic or Lutheran , it doesn't matter. It is more of a tool for life issues that gives direct answers on how to handle problems as opposed to the Bible that tells stories to teach lessons and are vague and open for interpretation. Scientology does not teach racism.

Religions are not corporations. Some religions are very wealthy, yes. The Catholic church, LDS church, Scientology, etc. They are rich organizations, not corporations. They don't own the media, natural resources, car companies, etc. They do not manufacture and sell for profit (at least not in an industrial level). They do not pay tax because they are not a business. Taxing people for going to church would violate the separation of church and state principle.

I totally agree, in the news an athiest was crying cuz he's christian church (business) was going bad. I believe that to believe in God you do not have to go to church. If you want to congregate use your own house. if there is 5 main members of the church, it's certain their is 5 houses, take turns, if there gets to be to much people divide them on groups, and now instead of 1 there are 2. they all love god and praise, that way money shouldn't be important. unless they plan on doing charity.

Religions are not corporations. Some religions are very wealthy, yes. The Catholic church, LDS church, Scientology, etc. They are rich organizations, not corporations. They don't own the media, natural resources, car companies, etc. They do not manufacture and sell for profit (at least not in an industrial level). They do not pay tax because they are not a business. Taxing people for going to church would violate the separation of church and state principle.
