If I remember correct, after you make that right onto main street in Bourbonnais there used to be this grimy little chinese restaurant on the left and I think, in that general area there was a mexican restaurant that had the best damn chimichangas in town.
@MattRoeKJHS I love Bills. I have all of one side of the family living in Bourbonnais, really nice place up there. I go up there very often, the next time in July.
@Yella151 Kankakee isn't exactly my favorite place on earth, but if it is going to survive the REALLY need to catch it up with flourishing Bourbonnais, which I doubt it'll ever do.

@prfsnlwannabe It's called Janikies (my best spelling) and it's an amazing place for hot dogs and BBQ sandwichs. There are two locations, and that is the original.
@nesbitt615 Well, beside near the riverside area with all of the swanky houses, there really isnt a good part of Kankakee. My granparents live in the much much nicer Bourbonnais, the northernmost of the Bradley-Bourbonnais-Kankakee area. I did filmed Kankakee because it was the most interesting.
Nice to see how it works with those school buses, as we don't have school buses in the Netherlands. Students either get brought with their parents, cycle or take the regular bus.
In one of Lettermans monologues a few years back he mentioned Kankakee as being rated the most boring city in America. He called the mayor on his show and gave him a few pointers. Thats the only time Ive ever heard of Kankakee.
You don't show local watering holes, Divits, well I don't remember anymore. I used to live in Bradley years ago. Still beautiful.
