@MrMansonfamilymember She's a regular grandma now and looks nice and happy. Go to eviliz.com to see some recent pictures of her. She is supposed to have advised on the upcoming Manson Girls film, the one that was going to have Lindsay Lohan, who was going to play Nancy! But I think she has dropped out now, shame. She was mixed up in some Aryan Brotherhood murders in 1972 and her son, Eric Monfort, has just been sent to jail for armed robbery. An interesting character....
@mrob611 how about you eat shit and die! Because of people like you, Barbra Hoyt, and BUGliosi, Sadie is dead and the Family is only left with a few members!
@PiperVongphrachahnh Hey loser...Sadie died from cancer. The only way I could describe you is as diarrhea shat out of the ass of of a mal formed slug like thing. The normal world and the righteous will celebrate when none of those parasitic psychos are left.
Social commentary aside, this is a great song. Nancy Pitman may have made some mistakes in her past (havent we all), but I respect The Shangs for perfectly nailing the time and place and subject!
Completely new to me-i like it-if you dont like the subject on moral grounds then dont listen. Its like tv if you dont like the programme turn it off.
Hey! Thanks for your response!!! Shangs CDs etc. will soon be made available on: The Jayne Room - Official Website of The Shangs...... thanks again...!!!
Brenda was an unpleasant and odious young woman who literally got away with murder. Bugliosi had her pegged from the get - go and if he had more support would have put her away along with the others. Thank god for Bugliosi or there would have been a lot more murders. He's my hero.
Being concerned with the effects of violent crime should always hold sway over enjoying pop music. That's just the way it is for anyone with a mind and a conscience. Sorry Jimmy boys.
who the hell gives a crap whether or not she would approve? She "approved" of the murders of Sharon Tate and the others, greeted it with relish, and acted like a monstrous buffoon during the trial, and helped murder and/or cover up more murders later on. You have to be a sociopath to act the way she did.
People who romanticize Brenda and her ilk are idiots. Sadly there are far too many who do.
I think the song is beautiful and there's something spirtual and magical about it. You're so stressed out that you can't hear or appreciate the beauty of this song. The song is the very essence of life. Listen to it, feel it. It gives off a good vibe.
I can appreciate the song. It's very nice, and I have heard songs from this band before. That's not my point. "I'm sure Brenda would have approved." That was my point. Perhaps I misunderstood you, but the people who stayed with the group after the murders and rubbed the victim's and the public's noses in it, and then went on to commit more murders, were not good people.
Brenda McCann, true name, Nancy Pittman, was a vocal, tenacious, fanatic supporter of Charles Manson and long-time Manson Family member. She was his chief assassin and involved in insubsequent murders and closely tied to racist organizations. Truly vicious. An awful woman. (Beautiful song, though).
the chief assassin thing was kind of b.s. it's just something that Manson uttered to the Prosecutor during the trial to freak him out. However, you are right that she was an crazy asshole, along with Squeaky and Sandra Good. And yup Brenda served time for those subsequent murders in northern california.
What ever happened to Brenda McCann.......... Can anyone tell me???!!!
