@iesus68 HELL YEAH! New Years eve '89 at the Riv in Chicago.....chick I went with was bein a bitch so I hooked up with 2 chicks at the show and......well, I can just leave you to imagine the rest. Show was awesome with fire-eaters and everything!
I love how Ministry looks like an awesome group of nerds backing up there creepy heroine addict friend in a band (no disrespect intended) Fucking awesome song !!!
Well, since it seems to be the hip cool thing to compare NIN and Ministry, I wonder if Paul Barker and Bill Rieflin are in the same therapy group as Charlie Clouser and Chris Vrenna. I bet they'd have loads to talk about.
The drumming is so clean and relentless, like a machine. Never heard drumming like it when Land of Rape and Honey came out in '88... yet it's exactly the same live.
I wish these guys would cover "memorial song". Its actually by an anonymous author. If you head back to my channel you can hear it. Some people say Ministry recorded it but who really knows.
Ministry is back with a new album? Who ever makes the choice to book Ministry for a show could be very bad. I'm 39yrs old....I know I won't quit til that mother fucker is torn down. And I know , every person who just can't get their songs loud enough will be tearing shit up. Going completely Ape. Shit.
Timothy Leary. Some people think he was fried but how many 70+ yr olds are as alive and active in the present as he was? Most old people are mentally looking backwards and winding down by the time they're 70.
Man this takes me back.. Great live version of this song on "Live In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up" which I still have on tape! lol. Yes boys and girls that is cassette tape.. Al and Ministry definitely were not "radio friendly" or radio favorites but they burned a pretty good path through the world with their unique anti-establisment sound and we moshed to it, climbed the cage to it.. fell off the cage to it.. lol good times!!
I thought Timothy Leary passed on in the late eighties?... if I'm mistaken, someone please correct. I didn't do enough LSD, wish I could get some blotter ~
No, pretty sure It's Leary. He died on May 31, 1996 actually. A lot of this video is from Roseland in NYC, in April 96, a whole month and a half before he died.

@fistfuck100 Of course. I got to spend time with Tim Leary at Lollapalooza 1993 with bands like TOOL, Rage Against the Machine, Primus and Alice in Chains. He was always a cool cat.
i always laugh when i see him wearing that tough guy getup and how he calls others fake-remember when he used to sing with a fake british accent and wear ruffles and lace of course not-thats why he never sings or mentions his earlier work.he is thw biggest phony there is i respect britney spears more than him ,at least her downward spiral was real.he drinks and shoots heroin to fit an image.next time you see him yell "with sympathy" he will cringe and run

@qwq45 you're clearly not a metalhead;I don't judge you for that;I do for not letting some peaple enjoy what ever they want to;he may have not created the industrial sound but this band was pretty much the one who created the industrial metal genre;who blended the guitars with the keyboards and samples an as I may have told you they made popular before turned out to be a breakdown lateron
When I bought this DVD a few years years ago I was having major isseus with alcohol. Watching this DVD early in the morning while drinking beer and watching All drink all the time always gave me this "you're not alone" feeling. Made me feel better.

i have the same question from years ago... i think it maybe just one camera that covers all the shows, that was mixed and there you go, lot of camera agles and outfit changes from one second to other...
I got to see ministry last year at their last Austin show. it was fucking amazing. Burton C. Bell from fear factory sang just one fix while Al played guitar and jumped around. It was tight as hell. I was a little sad that they didn't play the fall or psalm 69, but whatever, it was still the best show ever.
Filth Pig was put out in 1996 after The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste, not saying they did not do a lot of heroine then but I thought the sound was fresher.
I think Ministry sounded the best when their was a bush in office!!!
damnit, I wish I had got into Ministry a couple of years ago so I could have caught them live. Anybody know some good modern industrial bands that can put on a show even close to this good?
Ministry is done dude no more albums no more tours Al said he's throwing in the towel with ministry but if you dig these guys check out Al's other band The Revolting Cocks very similair sounding to ministry not so much their new stuff
Now that's a fucking encore!

Noun 2. Stigmata - a song by the band Ministry....that kicks as much ass today, as it did back in 1988!

i have the same question from years ago... i think it maybe just one camera that covers all the shows, that was mixed and there you go, lot of camera agles and outfit changes from one second to other...

I saw them perform this song for the Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste Tour, this version is pretty tired!

I think he's doing all kinds of bad things back then though, Fitlh Pig wasnt a great album unless you like doing tons of heroin! (I'm guessing)

Filth Pig was put out in 1996 after The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste, not saying they did not do a lot of heroine then but I thought the sound was fresher.
I think Ministry sounded the best when their was a bush in office!!!
They needed inspiration!

damnit, I wish I had got into Ministry a couple of years ago so I could have caught them live. Anybody know some good modern industrial bands that can put on a show even close to this good?
CapnProjection 2 years ago 2
There's barely any Industrial bands these days... well famous ones anyway.

Nobody kicks ass as progressively and intelligently as Al and paul. Listening to this is a lot cheaper than therapy. You
