Even biopsy tests like the immunohistochemical tests are based on non specific proteins. This can all be traced directly to Bayh-Dole Act of 1980 allowing the privatization of research, the results of which are in the interests of the companies who own the research and future patents.

So how do we know that we are hiv positive or hiv negative through non specific antibody test kits, well we dont. It is impossible. Nothing more, nothing less than bad science.
