Fabulous thanks ... it may be a simple question - but I am a beginner guitar player - do you use a thumbpick and fingerpicks ? is it possible to play fingerstyle without a thumbpick ? Thanks

Yes I am using a Thumb Pick (plastic) type medium gauge Blue kind. and 2 Fingerpicks (which are the Ernie Ball) pointed end type about medium gauge also. And I also like playing without picks too, and it does sound good that way. Some even like it better. I like to play that way when I have total quietness around me,etc. I had that song going somewhat too fast for the way is was supposed to be, but it seemed to come out alright for picking that way.
