Hi guys, I posted my video as a response two days ago (Thursday) on this page. I thought this is the correct page I have to response (The trailer says "Battleaxbass52195 and friends...). Did you receive my video? Does it take part in the competition?

Hey I posted this on Battleaxes vid but I haven't gotten an answer yet, I apologize for the impatience but I don't wanna miss the deadline :) anyway maybe you could help me, I pre-recorded my Solo, But does the video need to be Live or can it be a still video of say a picture of representation? Everyone else has a live video But I thought I'd ask if not for this year but maybe next. Let know bro, thanks for putting this on! Cheers!

@NationofTheUnknown Prerecording the solo is fine. However we do request that people have a video rather than a picture as we then can see what is being played.

@TheBrandominator This is his idea. He organised everything: created the competition, recruited judges, and recorded the backing track. He truly deserves to be recognised as "the leader".

For some reason none of the judges videos appeared on the subscription list besides Gamerfans. That could possibly be a reason why not that many people have entered yet.

It felt like just yesterday when I was watching the 2011 New Years Shred Off :)

The musicians are getting better, the judges are getting better, and gosh I can't wait to see all the entries coming in!

And the backing track sounds A WHOLE lot better than last years! (Even though I loved last year's also)

But still best of luck to everyone and can't wait as a viewer to watch these amazing entries! :)

@SoftShredding I was looking into 11-54s and 12-56s, trying to decide. I wish elixer made them, the g-string (lol) always fucks up with ernie balls. and bro i just got started with a band, they just got me to start playing again im way to unprepared to enter this contest. Next year i will for the lols :D!
