I have a piece of advice for Vengeful Spirit build:
I usually do stun and stats until, may be, level 9 or 10, because it gives you a huge boost on hp, mana and even some damage. The command aura, as you know, is based on the damage you have, so on level 10 you will have perhaps about 90-100 damage, and the command aura will be much more effective.

Dota actually really isn't that fun to watch. Starcraft is hard to play, but super fun to watch. Dota is fun to play, but actually really boring to watch. WATCHING a pro replay instead of watching a commentator might be fun for educational purposes, but other than that, Dota is really for the players, not people watching. Good commentary, though.

If you enjoy team battle and team strategy, you will have to have a certain amount of power to do your part.
This reason is why last hitting is so important. It increases the potential your hero has in a team battle. It, in return, increases your role in team battle/strategy.
This is a little lowskill for my taste but by all means keep doing this, I know others will appriciate this and its alway fun to have english commentarys :D
To be fair, I think Klazart you are not much better than the Batrider. Your lane control wasnt impressive at all, you cant swap, and cant even lure creeps away from tower hitting. In short, you are a joke yourself and so don't try to belittle others.

Ahahaha, the ending was so good. The friends i play dota with refer to it as shit-talking and yeah, i've seen people who are losing like 0-20 (team score) stay in games because the enemy team doesn't abuse them, while like someone whos name is 'FirstBloodYoMum' or something will ragequit after their 4 hero gank on the solo at 1 minute in fails when they say into all chat 'prepare to lose nigger jew' or something of equal intelligence. It really is the deciding factor in whether a game is shit.
None of the league games are -ar because int heroes are far greater than strength and agility heroes when you have that level of team coordination.

Loved this vid and watched the whole thing. The in-depth analysis of a public game is kinda weird in concept but still explains much to people that dont play the game.
Also a little corection from me about Venge :P. You can swap magic immune units like the spinning Juggernaut because most ultimate abilities are still targetable on magic immune guys. Still the spell damage is blocked so using something like Laguna Blade isnt advised.
you should atleast try and comment on some league games, where all 10 players know what they are doing the whole game. games are alot more ineresting like that. you should also start trying to play in some league games to improve you skill/knowledge of the game, to help with commentary. i enjoy your starcraft commentaries alot, and this was pretty good for one of your frst few attempts. i think if you played with better players on a regular basis, you'd be alot more motivated to commentate rep's

Hm. I gotta say, this was a very nice break from Starcraft. I'm not a big fan of Diggity's Counterstrike commentaries (love his Nethack commentaries though), and I've only played DotA like 4 times ever (and this was back when it was just a custom map and not an actual full blown game the way it is today), but this particular video had me interested the whole way through.
You're partly correct about pro dota. While it's easy for a seasoned player to follow their team fights, that doesn't really apply to newbies like our dear commentator :P And following the lane / roaming stage of the game is a logistical nightmare for just about anyone, even with good knowledge of the game.
It's been done before though, and pretty well at that, but it requires a very knowledgeable player to do the commentary, and even then the early stages of a game can be confusing.

OMG! There is no such thing as kill steal! WHy can't people understand that???? DotA just like basketball is a team game, and no matter who gets the kill in mass fights, or ganks the main thing is to kill the enemy hero for the greater purpose of the team..
Because there IS such a thing as a killsteal, just the better you are the less it should be bothering you. If a hero is being chased down by spectre and has 10 hp left with dagger still one then zeus should NOT use wrath because the spectre needs the gold much more, and is more than capable of killing the target by herself. If the target is getting away then by all means use wrath, but give the gold to the carries if at all possible.

Also a little corection from me about Venge :P. You can swap magic immune units like the spinning Juggernaut because most ultimate abilities are still targetable on magic immune guys. Still the spell damage is blocked so using something like Laguna Blade isnt advised.

you should atleast try and comment on some league games, where all 10 players know what they are doing the whole game. games are alot more ineresting like that. you should also start trying to play in some league games to improve you skill/knowledge of the game, to help with commentary. i enjoy your starcraft commentaries alot, and this was pretty good for one of your frst few attempts. i think if you played with better players on a regular basis, you'd be alot more motivated to commentate rep's

Hm. I gotta say, this was a very nice break from Starcraft. I'm not a big fan of Diggity's Counterstrike commentaries (love his Nethack commentaries though), and I've only played DotA like 4 times ever (and this was back when it was just a custom map and not an actual full blown game the way it is today), but this particular video had me interested the whole way through.
Very fun stuff, thanks Klaz.

You're partly correct about pro dota. While it's easy for a seasoned player to follow their team fights, that doesn't really apply to newbies like our dear commentator :P And following the lane / roaming stage of the game is a logistical nightmare for just about anyone, even with good knowledge of the game.
It's been done before though, and pretty well at that, but it requires a very knowledgeable player to do the commentary, and even then the early stages of a game can be confusing.

ya, you probably don't like watching pro dota games cuz you still don't have enough knowledge about the game.
you're actually right about dota not being a spectator's sport. it's boring to ppl who know what the skills do because it goes much deeper than skills, stats and items. unlike sc or cs which are fast-paced and it's always easy to see what's going on even if you don't know what the more subtle things like timings and positioning.
anyway, just get terror instead of aura next time, plz.

leaving the audio in is extremely important. why do you think baseball games, soccer games, football games have audio? because it leaves the viewer feeling like he is in the middle of the action. i love hearing "first blood" and "triple KILL"

thanks for the replay klaz. the mask of madness is actually good for yunero but i doubt that jug knew why. the number of hits his ulti"omnislash" gets is a function of his attack speed. if he hits the mask first he will get at least one more attack with it, possibly 2.

First off in one of the DOTA movies Klazart said that the SC Community wasn't having that many games for another period of time; thus, Klazart decided to post a DOTA commentary to keep us entertained
Secondly If he did post the DOTA commentary in parts on his account some people might not be pleased by having to watch 5-6 parts instead of 1 huge video

Because there IS such a thing as a killsteal, just the better you are the less it should be bothering you. If a hero is being chased down by spectre and has 10 hp left with dagger still one then zeus should NOT use wrath because the spectre needs the gold much more, and is more than capable of killing the target by herself. If the target is getting away then by all means use wrath, but give the gold to the carries if at all possible.
