I remember that after Reinventing Axl Rose came out, I started working my way back through Toms early demo recordings and coming across this and that cassette comp Tom featured on with Crasshole Records. Haven't had a musical journey that's rivaled it since.
@wucodu Vivada Vis is amazing, I procured it illegally somehow and made a cd but lost it years ago...I guess it fits considering the circumstances, but as far as music revelations go I feel the same way about hearing "Fuck World Trade" - Leftover Crack and tracking them back to Morning Glory, effing ill.
i love the distortion. it feels like real usic, not edited recording room stuff. then again against me! is the only band ive heard that is as good live as they are on their cds

I personally think the bad quality actually makes it more interesting. It sounds more gritty, especially if you actually listen to the lyrics, which isn't that hard. But then again, I'm a connoisseur of music.

Against me is on the edge almost of possibly selling out, I love this band and hope they tell the producers to fuck off when the producers tell them what they want. Bands like these dont exist everywhere.

if every version you have heard has the distortion..... then maybe it's intended. they wouldn't be the first artists to use distortion as an intended effect to their music.
