Im from illinois, and i go to Michigan all the time to my cottage in the summer. Michigan has ALOT of farms. Believe it or not, they are a big farming state. They have tons of corn, beans, asparagas etc. Michigan corn is fantastic. Not to mention alot of apple farms and fruit farms as well. Its a good state for farming.

yea i had no idea. then again ive never really put much thought into it. ha. Ya'll have hundreds if not a couple thousand of acres per farm like down here? Never had Michigan corn, or actually, ever heard of it.

Well since im from Illinois, i cant completely speak for ALL of Michigan. But, where i visit in the summer in Michigan, there is alot of farms. The farms that i come across are not as big as the ones you describe. Im sure there are farms that big, i just have never crossed their paths. Michigan is well known for apple farms, asparagas farms and corn. If you ever get the chance to head to Michigan, get some sweet corn from a stand, its delicious. Where are you from?

Also, if you ever get the chance to visit Michigan, i advise you head to an apple farm for some good apple picking, especially in October. There are alot of apple fests and its alot of fun.
