Also, just want to point out that since this video was created nearly 2 years ago, there has been some changes with top sites like Mashable for commenting. It seems you can only comment using facebook or twitter account.

Another point is that i'm not sure if placing an anchor text within a comment is considered spam. Although i do see one or two comments like that.

To keep pace with the big boys, we need to tend to (both) on-page AND off-page SEO / SEM tasks. anyone who doesn't take the time to include an anchor text comment is being fool-hardy.
